Incredible Pagosa: Cozy, Rustic Cabin Sleeps 6, Historic Downtown

This place is a gem. It's a d-log structure that was both a bookstore and coffee shop in it's past life. We have remodeled it back into a two bedroom home with a loft, sleeping a total of six. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is a futon in the loft area with a full sized 10" foam mattress that very comfortably sleeps two more. Upstairs you will also find an office nook with a desk. WI-FI is on site.

The kitchen features a gas range, dishwasher and all of the dishes and cookware you will need to feed your crew. We keep basic oils and spices on hand so that you don't have to buy a cart full of staples in order to cook delicious meals. There is also a gas grill available for you to use.

The living room is cozy and very relaxing with a leather sectional, the most comfortable rocking chair that you will ever sit in and a roku tv. The bathroom features a shower stall and a barn wood vanity with a vessel sink.

This was the coziest little cabin and located conveniently near the lower shops of Pagosa. My family walked to the coffee shop and then walked along the and shops. It was quiet and private. The cabin was stocked with good amenities and we had everything we needed to prepare food. There isn’t anything I’d change about this place.

Wonderful location

Stayed for 4 days. Rustic yes,. But very comfortable and clean. Super well equipped kitchen. Wonderful location. Would stay again. Only note is that there is no air conditioning. Not a problem for us because of cool nights and pleasant days.

I absolutely loved this place. Perfect location, absolutely great hosts, beautiful home. Stairs were creaky but I feel like that was the only downside. It was a great place to stay!

We had a great time staying in the cabin in Pagosa Springs. It was easy to walk to the Hot Springs and the music festival. Everything we needed for our state was available. Highly recommended.

Loved it!
This little cabin felt roomier than we expected. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfy, and we loved discovering all the clever touches throughout the home. Pagosa Springs is our favorite summer mountain town and now we have a favorite place to stay too! Will be back soon and plan on staying here or perhaps try out one of their other properties which look equally as wonderful!

Great Cabin
My husband and I loved the cabin and would definitely stay here again. A few tips to keep in mind is that there is only one bathroom downstairs, so there would be a line if more than one family stayed in the cabin and if you are elderly and have difficulty going up and down stairs, keep in mind that all of the beds are upstairs. Definitely not a problem for our stay since it was just me and my husband. Perfect location and dog friendly, can't wait to come back.

We had a great stay in this cozy cabin in downtown Pagosa. The kitchen was well supplied; the only thing we bought for our stay was food. We were able to check in a little early; the host was friendly and welcoming. Three bedrooms upstairs were comfortable and airy. While it was not a problem for us, a consideration for some might be that the bathroom is downstairs.

Awesome little cottage. We didn’t use the hot tub but its a great addition. Cozy beds. Loved the gas stove. Close to grocery store. Just about a minute drive to hot springs. We will definitely be back!

What a gem!
Everything about our stay was fantastic. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was super cozy. The fact we were so close to town was a perk because we were able to walk to many of the locations. We were so thankful for the boot warmers/dryers! That came in super clutch after a day of skiing. Communication with the property manager was fantastic. Thank you again!!

This is a cozy property as advertised. It was fine for a close family as the bedrooms are in a loft. We loved the front porch and the close proximity to town and the hot springs. My husband loved the ability to take long runs with a mountain view. I would caution anyone with mobility issues that the stairs are tough. The bathroom is downstairs, so nighttime descents on the stairs are a bit of a challenge if you aren't paying attention- leave a light on. Otherwise, it was cute and cozy and we had a great time there.

Pagosa Springs Stay
Really enjoyed the stay. A couple of things. If I wanted hot water for the shower, it didn't take long at all for it to heat up. The cabin also warmed up pretty quickly once thermostat was set where I wanted. Access to the main road going up to Wolf Creek was one block from where we stayed, so I had minimal worries about snow obstructing my drive or getting stuck. Access to a 24 hour gym was a half mile away and super convenient. Also, I had to speak to the VRBO rep one time and she was easy to contact and very familiar with the property. She also had detail answers to any questions I had. In summary, the property and location was everything I expected and will certainly stay there again.
