You get to enjoy this private, beautifully constructed & professionally landscaped Santa Fe Mountain modern style home on 5 acres yet close to town. This amazing home features year round access, with wildlife galore & borders a large ranch & the elk migration path. The open floor plan is warm and inviting with views from every room and plenty of room for entertaining or large family gatherings, yet cozy enough for a romantic long weekend for just the two of you.

This 3000+ square foot home is showcased by the red sawn Oregon fir floors, hand picked Moss rock floor to ceiling wood-burning fireplace and expansive timber frame beamed ceilings. The gourmet kitchen features a Wolf six burner dual fuel stove with dual ovens & griddle, a Sub Zero Refrigerator, a warming drawer, 2 Franke SS sinks with lighting at the counters, floor and above the custom cabinets & island. For those who enjoy cooking, this is your dream kitchen all flowing easily to the incredible outdoor cantilevered entertaining redwood deck complete with outdoor speakers, a 6 person hot tub & LED lighting under the powder coated hand rail and gas grill to enjoy cooking outside.

Fall asleep in the comfort of your master bedroom after relaxing in the deep soaking tub or the enclosed steam shower with bench, dual vessel sinks and 2 door walk in closet. The luxury continues with 2 more guest rooms. One with a King Bed and the other with a queen bed. Both have TV's and share a full bathroom. Down the hall and down a few stairs is a converted den with additional exterior entrance, refrigerator, coffee bar, full bathroom, TV and new leather couch.

A few steps from the home, you'll find an over-sized detached epoxy floored 2 car garage with a heated exercise room. Across the gravel driveway, you'll find a large storage building, with access to the fun game room with pool and ping pong tables, darts and other games.

This home has easy access to both uptown and downtown. Only a few minutes from Walmart and many restaurants, or a few more minutes to the world famous Pagosa Springs Hot Springs. Wolf Creek ski area only a quick 30 minute drive to the slopes for phenomenal skiing & boarding. Wolf Creek boosts the most snow of any Colorado resort and is also the only fully powered solar ski area in the United States.

This home is equipped with a back up generator. If power is lost, there's no waiting for it to be restored!

Mountain Christmas ski trip
The property is awesome. Had great views. The amenities were great. Bedding was soft and comfortable Was out of town yet close enough to run grab what we needed in town or to go shopping. Natalie the corespondent for Vrbo was great also

Great location for Family Christmas Celebration
House was well appointed, plenty of extras. Enjoyed sitting on the deck in evening watching sunset by the firepit with blankets, hot tub after a day of skiing, fixing dinner in a kitchen that was well stocked. Quick trip to groceries and downtown, many took advantage of the small workout room.

Great CO Getaway
We love this home for its proximity to downtown Pagosa, it's large professional kitchen, and the views from the balcony. The views and sunsets were amazing. Great place to enjoy a glass of wine after hiking all day. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous property
We absolutely loved this property. Close to town, but feels private and very quiet. A rustic adobe house with wonderful outside area and views! Large yard was great for our dog. Every room was nicely furnished with a chef’s kitchen. Our host, Stuart, was very attentive and responsive, as well as knowledgeable of the area for hiking, dining, good, and sightseeing. Highly recommend this property.

We have stayed in over a dozen homes in Colorado and everyone in our family agreed this was #1 .We enjoyed the balcony most of all ,the hot tub appears brand new and the fire pit was used mornings and evenings . Gorgeous Large Home Close to Main Street in Pagosa
My family thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this home. It's very spacious, and meticulously cleaned. The kitchen is perfect for entertaining and the view from the deck is one of the best features in the house. The kitchen had everything you need to cook plus more. We really enjoyed the hot tub as well. The kids had fun in the game room. This house is fairly close to the main street in Pagosa but feels like you're hidden in the mountains. We hope this home is available to stay in when we're back in Pagosa!

Wonderful, relaxing stay in a superb home
The home was well-appointed, well-stocked, and very comfortable! The kitchen was fabulous and had all the equipment we needed and more. The beds were comfortable, showers were spacious and attractive, and the workout and game rooms were welcome bonuses. The crowning jewel is the outside space for relaxing (hot tub or very cozy chairs around the gas fire table) and taking in the views, including amazing star-gazing! Lori and Stuart were very responsive and pleasant to interact with. We will rebook here in a heartbeat if we are in the area again!

House and location are awesome. Great views from deck, sunsets from the hot tub were amazing. Floor plan of house is very well done. Steam shower in master is very nice before bed. We would definitely recommend this place. Hopefully we can rent it again. Only thing we see to improve is make sure the heater is on and walk way shoveled off before the guest arrives. Thanks again and have a MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Second time at this great house!
We've now come twice and absolutely love the house and the setting. The view from the deck is beautiful - looking down on what looks to me like Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. Kitchen is planned so well that I was inspired to update our kitchen. And the kitchen is well-stocked. The primary bedroom is ever so comfortable and we couldn't ask for more in the bath. BTW this is our 5th trip to PS since 2018 - does that say we love the Pagosa Springs area? If you go in the autumn, plan to do the Cumbres Toltec historic railroad and spring the extra dollars for the parlor chairs. Well worth it.

Great Views and location!
We really loved the views of this home! Beyond that, the home was well maintained and had an incredible kitchen/dining area. The property manager was also readily available for any questions we had along the way. The location is well centered to get to downtown, out to Walmart, or the City Market. Thankfully, the VIP service helped with the groceries on the front end. We had 2 families at the residence, so the only drawback is the difference in the 2 king bedrooms for the adults as far as size of the rooms go. The larger suite is fantastic though!

Honestly could not ask for better views, outdoor space, privacy, etc. After a few days, it felt like home for us and we were sad to leave. The communication with the property manager during our stay was outstanding, and everything was so simple. The only disappointment we had was the pool table was not assembled, and the teenagers we took looked forward to that. BUT it was probably a blessing because it kept everyone together in the house and outside as much as possible.

WOW- 6 STARS for location, amenities
We had a short stay here last weekend, just myself, my daughter and husband, and my cousin. We spent the majority of our time on the back porch, it has a stupendous view and is very quiet. You feel like you're among the clouds. I took amazing pictures of the sunset, did yoga on the sunny wood floors, and we spent a little time every day in the very large, very clean hot-tub (very clean, loved that part). The kitchen was fully equipped, which is good because we cooked all of our own meals since we were trying to be self-contained and safe. We grilled one night and turned on the fire in the back and it felt like we were really away from it all! We walked around the neighborhood and saw a few folks, everyone waved and was friendly and the view down the road was really beautiful. I feel like one more night here would have been perfect, so next time I'll book 3 nights. This could easily be a vacation spot to meet my colorado family in once things get back to normal, there's a ton of biking and hiking in Pagosa and the river's right there, plus they could drive their camper up and park in the large parking lot onsite. Maybe this summer !! All in all this was a great experience, thank you for doing it right!
