While the pool area is undoubtedly lovely, it would have been more enjoyable with a higher water temperature, especially during the colder months. Overall, Rosewood Castiglion Del Bosco is a fantastic choice for those looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of Tuscany and indulge in a luxurious hotel experience. "Mieliśmy bardzo udany listopadowy pobyt w cichym, czystym i cieplym miejscu , pośród toskańskiej przyrody,, z dala od miejskiego hałasu który mamy na codzień mieszkając w dużym mieście. Jedyne czego się obawialiśmy tylko że będzie trudno znaleźć domek, jako że przejeżdżaliśmy późno wieczorem ale mapy prowadziły doskonale a sama posiadłość była oświetlona i nie było w związku z tym żadnych problemów z trafieniem tam"

"We loved our stay at hotel dei Capitani, would highly recommend. Montalcino is famous for truffles, wild boar, wine, and beautiful views, especially from this hotel. It is on top of a mountain and in the country so you can expect to see bugs in your room like spiders, mosquitos, stink bugs, but they are mostly all harmless and more of a nuisance than anything. When looking for food to eat I recommend “Il Moro SNC di pellegrini Alessandro”, extremely clean kitchen, family run, delicious homemade local food. Don’t trust any of the restaurants hours posted on their websites, the city pretty much closes down once it’s past 8:30 you’ll have a hard time getting food anywhere. Also, the roads are very tight so if you are driving a car I recommend something small. Walking on the walls of the castle was another great highlight of the trip. If you want to visit any wineries make reservations ahead of time. Again, can’t recommend it enough! And thanks to the hotel staff for being so welcoming, hospitable and helpful with recommendations. We loved the whole experience. "

"The properties that make up the hotel are inside the medieval walled city ares sumptuous in beauty and comfort. The staff made us feel like treasured guests and always had a smile and a kind word. We celebrated a friend's 60 birthday here and could not have been happier! "

"This is a beautiful Tuscany experience. Very small property perched on a hill, very well appointed and large rooms, gorgeous views, beautiful surrounding vineyards for endless walking, spectacular pool, ultra-foodie restaurant. One warning, do not recommend this if anyone in the party gets carsick. It is far off the beaten track, with lots of curvy roads, and a considerable amount of gravel roads."

"There are no words to describe how amazing this property is! From the moment we arrived, the staff was absolutely amazing and accommodating. They greeted us by name, which was absolutely wonderful. We were given a tour of the property followed by lunch. The food at this Castello is simply divine. Everything is farm-to-table and they only use the highest of ingredients. Our rooms were also just spectacular. We stayed in the Vicario Suite, Suite Sprone & the Spa Suite. All three were amazing, however the Spa Suite was really special. The amenities in our rooms were wonderful as well. You can tell that management has thought of every last detail to make the guests stay a five star experience. This was definitely the highlight of our vacation and we cannot wait to return! "
