Beautiful house with quiet relaxing atmosphere - had difficult time getting suitcase up the steps as elevator locked - room on 72 degrees and could not adjust. Breakfast fun with other people but inadequate and disappointing. Suggestion: put out some snacks and water for people at night to increase opportunities for using the beautiful rooms feeling more at home.
Clean and convenient for all of our needs! The host was amazing! Gave us great info and a great breakfast! Her helper was amazing too! Great fun, would definitely stay here again!
This B&B was the perfect place to unwind after a long day of travel. We only booked one night for our trip as we were headed east a few more days. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. Shelley was a very hospitable. Communication with her was smooth. Breakfast and conversation was great - good laughs and good coffee. The location is a short walk from several restaurants, shops, and museums, or a short drive from everything else. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This was my first time at a bed and breakfast and I loved it! It was very clean and the common areas were darling. The hosts were kind and answered immediately if I ever called/texted them. Having the $10 voucher for breakfast was a plus but I’m sure the breakfast would’ve been delicious if I had it in-house! 10/10 stay.
The property was clean, fresh and quiet. The hosts were friendly and did great communicating about check-in and breakfast. We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay!
Huge house with nice rooms, quiet neighborhood near Riverwalk.

Disliked: Check-in, communication
Quilt Museum
Not worth the money. There was no breakfast provided. The furniture on the balcony needed wiped off. The fan was non-operational. There was only one chair in the room so it would be uncomfortable for two people to spend time in the room.
We stopped here on our way home from a road trip, and we will definitely be back! The room/home was lovely and we got a great (much needed) restful sleep and a delicious breakfast to start our day. Shelley asked us about food preferences, and was able to quickly tell me that her breakfast was gluten free down to the spices.
This was an absolutely wonderful bed and breakfast in downtown Paducah! We stayed here for a long weekend and were able to walk to all of the great restaurants and cocktail bars-great location! The hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean and we had everything we needed for our stay. If in the area in the future would definitely stay at the Respite!
We so enjoyed our stay at The Respite! It was perfectly tucked away off from the downtown scene, which provided a relaxing atmosphere to slow down with. We did not stay for breakfast, but the owner did check with us on allergies before! Communication was wonderful. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed our time here! Excellent place to stay! The only thing that surprised me was that we had to park our car on the street. I personally don't like parking on the street-other then that, we loved The Respite!
I stayed one night and it was delightful. Kind owners and beautiful place. It was quiet and located close to the BBQ festival in downtown. I walked to the festival and walked back after enjoying the festivities.
Thank you
