Very old, outdated motel. Has probably seen much better times decades ago. Beds were ok but very old. Only one seat in a room for two. No table. The small fridge was in the middle of the room and had to serve as table. Had to connect it first to a stretched extension cord that was also powering the TV. The TV had a very spotty, low quality signal. There was a coffee maker downstairs and some water, that's it. There was also a room on the first floor that seemed like a living room with several armchairs and a TV. It seemed we were the only guests at that time. Covid precautions were taken. Masks were required and a screen was separating employees and guests at check-in. Sheets were clean. Overall cleanliness was questionable. The room had one light switch next to the door that kills all electricity in the room. While this is good to conserve energy, it also kills the alarm clock (need to reset) and the fridge. Would definitely recommend to stay in a 'real' hotel in Childress rather than Paducah. This motel is also overpriced considering the location, age, little comfort it provides.
