"Our room was newly renovated and well laid out. Having the toilet seperate to the main bathroom is particular handy when staying with kids. The kitchen was very well stocked with pans, pots and utensils. The night manager was so lovely when we booked in, and genuinely made us feel so welcome. Some other areas did look quite tired, and I don't know if all rooms were as updated as ours. It was very close to most of the tourist attractions, we had a great stay. "

"There was no toaster in the room. Nor was there any crockery and the only cutlery was 2 teaspoons! There were 2 cups and 2 glasses, but that was it. We had bought food with us to eat in the room but were forced to eat out...even for breakfast! Just as well my husband bought his own bowl/spoon so he could have his cereal. A very poor show, indeed. Also, there was no remote control supplied to the room for the air conditioner. I had to get down on the floor to read the controls to work the damn...

"This is a very good place for a budget motel. It's clearly budget, but what I liked about it is the curtains which all have a pelmet making it quite dark inside despite the bright lights left on outside. Not many budget motels have this. It's relatively quiet due to being a bit out of the centre of town, but the walls are a bit thin so I could hear goings-on in other rooms a bit.
