"Beautiful place,perfectly situated. The staff are friendly and efficient. Breakfast is great (though the coffee included with breakfast isn't so good). My only suggestion would be to set the room temperature so guests can't tamper with it, one of the occupants cranked it up to sauna levels, which is neither customer nor eco-friendly. Otherwise, it was close to perfect and I'd stay again"

"Hostel is all gender bathrooms which is ok but toilets has a smell of Pooh. Floors creek, rooms was clean, bed comfy and staff very helpful. Area was great, center of attraction to shopping, food, walking tours. "

"The Supernova was amazing! Loved the staff because they were so wonderful, friendly, professional, and very helpful. I enjoyed my time there and would recommend it highly if you are interested in spending time in Porto. Also liked that there was delicious food, coffee, and dessert’s available, definitely check it out!!"

"We had a private room with shared bathroom in the Rivoli Cinema Hostel for 3 nights. It is in walking distance to most of the sights, tours and supermarkets. The kitchen was well equiped, the shared bathrooms were clean and our room was comfortable. It is a bit noisy with the traffic, but it is to be expected on this location.The staff was fun and very helpful. The cinema theme is everywhere, in all the small details! Great home base in Porto!"

"Hostel staff is friendly. Super location near metro stops Trindade. There have separate man and female toilets, showers also. Bed is comfortable and curtains make privacy. cleaning is very well i love to staying in this hostel. I will come again ❤❤"

"In general a good hostel. Staff friendly, nice kitchen etc. Unfortunately rooms are poorly spundproofed - you could heard almost everything. Also there was no closet or even a coat rack. Breakfast very basic - without any meat. "

"Very basic accommodations. The trade off is the cheap price and excellent location for shopping, cafes, restaurants, and Selina next door. It was nice that they included towels (many hostels charge a rental fee), but they were threadbare. The kitchen has no stove, only a microwave. "This property has been frailly recently updated and the beds, kitchenette and bathroom in our unit were good. What was a big disappointment was the attitude of the staff--starting with an incompetent and surly check-in by the hotel's bartender -- we had paid for a third person and bed but he tried to charge us again for that extra. "Felt like home after staying for a month. Suite had a functional kitchen, bathroom, dining area, bed, and storage. "Veronica and housekeeper were both so kind and helpful. The unit was really clean, well maintained and had everything we would need for our stay. We were able to walk to almost everything and felt safe. If we were to come back we would stay here again, truly a beautiful place due to the management."

"Location, location, location. We had an amazing stay! The hotel is less than 5-minute walk to the Sao Bento train station, historical part of town and ALL local restaurants. The staff is amazing. Everyone is friendly, helpful and very welcoming. We had a minor issue with the room, but it was taken care within a few minutes. If we come back to Porto, we will definitely stay at the Porto Royal Bridges Hotel! "

Friendly, comfortable and accommodating

"Excellent hotel located right on the riverside and perfectly placed to visit all of the sights. I had a terrible journey from the UK due to a bad snow storm which meant I hadn’t slept for 42 hours by the time I arrived at the hotel at 4.30am. The hotel kindly checked me in at that late hour and made the beginning of my vacation a little bit better."
