Great work accomedations
Our work team of six stayed at Elkhorn Cabin while working in Randle. We were working at Cispus Learning Center for the week. Appreciated the well stocked house and easy to use kitchen with plenty of space to park our work trucks. Great food options nearby in town and excellent IGA grocery with everything we needed. Made coming home late and leaving early each day easy. Thanks for sharing your space. It’s a great house!

Elkhorn Cabin in the Fall
Elkhorn Cabin is in a beautiful location in the Cascades., very close to Mt Rainier. Yes, there are elk, but this is actually a nice new house, not a rustic cabin. We enjoyed our stay there very much, visiting Mt Rainier and taking a nice loop drive to Naches via White Pass and Chinook Pass during beautiful September weather.

Family hiking week
Enjoyed our stay in Packwood so we could hike at Mt Rainier and the Tatoosh mountains. The house was wonderful! We were able to walk into town to coffee or dinner or just grab something from the grocery store. Sitting on the front porch watching the elk come through the neighborhood was fun in the morning and evening.

Well appointed and comfortable
The cabin was quiet and lovely with easy access to Packwood. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. I do think the cleaning crew needs to be a little more thorough with cleaning the rugs and the outer bedding (comforters andcshams).

Great and clean house very close to the park
The house was excellent! We stayed two families, each with two teenagers and we had enough space. The house is perfectly maintained, it was super clean, had anything we could think of in the kitchen, in the bathroom. All the appliances were great and any question we had we got an answer right then. The house is located in a gated community, has a beautiful backyard with a fire pit and comfy chairs. We all had excellent time. The drive to the park is great too, it took us about 50 minutes to get to the Paradise visitor center which is great. There is a river very close to the house. I totally recommend it! Would definitely come back

Just what we needed!
We were in the area for a couple of days of hiking. We’re from out of state and had spent several days in Seattle before going to Packwood. Elkhorn Cabin was so refreshing after being in Seattle! And all the “little things” were amazing - laundry detergent so we could wash more warm-weather clothes (we expected it to be cooler near the mountain!); microwave popcorn to snack on; Apples to Apples and wii for family game time; television that we could stream from/project to for watching a movie. Spacious bathrooms, comfy beds, all the elk roaming the neighborhood… it was lovely. (Sorry we forgot to sign the guestbook!)

Hidden gem in Packwood
This was a beautiful little neighborhood just minutes from Packwood and a quick drive to Mt. Rainer. This home was lovely and the loft room was perfrct for kids. The elk even wandered in the backyard as we had a campfire. Very clean and easy check in/out process. Communication from hosts was fantastic! Would definitely recommend and appreciate them sharing their beautiful home!

Ready to enjoy and relax
We were greeted by the elk upon our arrival. We love nature and the outdoors so that just set the stage for our getaway. The house was newer and very clean. Nestled away in the northwest corner of Packwood, it was a great place to enjoy fellowship while only being a short drive to the White Pass for skiing.

Perfect location for half day trips to Mt. Rainier and its surroundings
Booked this property for its proximity to Mt. Rainier. We were interested in visiting Paradise, Sunrise, and Tipsoo Lake. This is a very beautiful new house in a quiet gated community, not far from grocery store. It has a nice layout, a fireplace (which we ended up not using because of a gorgeous Oct weekend), with spacious bedrooms and very comfortable mattresses. The kitchen is well equipped; and outside there's a large grill and a fire pit. Although we're just one family this time, I think it can easily fit 2, maybe 3 families (depending on their size). Will definitely come back in the future.

The elk seemed to be in arms reach
We sat on the porch watching the elk walk by, they seemed so close you could pet them. Obviously, that's not safe so don't do it. It was so amazing to see so close. The group of them munching and laying around chilling out with young ones in tow. We went there for a memorial service so it was an emotional trip but everything worked out better than we hoped, especially with the elk. The house had room for the 9 of us staying at this location, comfortably. Everything was clean and new. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was a peaceful stay even with all ranges of age for the kids. I would love to go back again when we could do more and stay in the same home....some day :-)
