We were greeted by two friendly dogs and a curious cat before interring the main living area that doubles as the breakfast/dinner area. The fireplace was burning and it was warm and cozy inside where we met the owners who were very welcoming and nice. We were escorted to our room in the back where we were pleased to find a large room with a beautiful canopy bed with a vaulted exposed beamed ceiling and opening out to the view of the mountains, the bed comfortable."

Campagna has historical sites which housed Jews during war, but the Italians were kind to the prisoners, which caused some their lives.
