"We booked our stay from 6-12 April 2017. Please bear in mind that there are no shops near the chalet. The nearest is in Seez or Saint Bourg Maurice which is a good 20 minute drive from the chalet. The owner told us that the nearest lift is 200 metres away but it is 1km and you cannot walk from the chalet to the lift, you have to drive. Also at that time of year and maybe because it hasn't been the best season, you could go up to Les Arcs 2000 via three slow chair lifts which took 30 mins but it...

"Great chalet on the outskirts of Val D'Isere with lots of space and a great layout for 2 families. its about a 10/15 minute walk into the main resort but there was bus stop right outside and a ski lift too so ski in/ski out. Beautifully warm too. The only thing we would have liked was a smart TV so the kids could have watched TV after long days on the slopes. We hope to return. thanks for a great stay"

"We are a family of four, with two college-age children, and had a wonderful stay at the Samovar. We stayed in one of the family rooms, which was perfect for us (with two beds in a spacious upstairs loft). The hotel is perfectly located -- literally across the street from the Dailles gondola (and only about a block from the funicular to the summit). There are a couple of restaurants nearby, including a great Savoyarde spot across the street. There is a regular shuttle bus to the main village of...

Fonctionnel et très bien équipé, avec quelques bonus très sympathique : sauna et local à ski-lingerie (très adapté pour accueillir tout le matériel de tous les skieurs). "Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt in diesem Chalet! Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, hat zwei Kamine und einen großen Garten. Es gibt große Wohnzimmer, die Schlafzimmer sind eher klein aber sehr gemütlich. In den Küchen sind alle nötigen Geräte, Geschirr etc. vorhanden. Der Vermieter ist äußerst sympathisch. Ich würde das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen und kann das auch jedem nur Empfehlen!"

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le chalet des laix. Le gîte est parfait pour un séjour en tribu avec des chambres agréables, ses nombreux sanitaires et salles de bain. La grande piece commune est superbe avec la vue sur les montagnes. Joëlle etait très accueillante et la communication facile. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !"

"We had a big family reunion and ski holiday over Christmas and it was perfect! Beautiful part of village positioned above the ski in with a couple of lovely restaurants. Host could not have done more to help us and make us feel at home and welcome. We could either walk down to the ski lifts or leave ski equipment in the garage. Thanks for a great holiday! "

"Everything was perfect- beautiful village easy access to skiing as long as you’re happy to do a red at the top, lovely chap Martin did check in the 2 village restaurants and the goat farm for milk cheese bread make for a perfect ski holiday. "We stayed as a group of 13 adults and 1 child. This is a nice chalet with good size kitchen and rooms. Access to the slopes is directly across a quiet road (less then 100m to the lift). For the price / location / size it worked well for us. The only slight issue is that their is no free bus to any other areas (this meant on the one and rare day the lifts all good shut down we couldn’t go anywhere)."
