Perfect for a quick weekend getaway
My family of 5 were in town for a long weekend stay for a wedding. This place was perfect for us and had everything we needed, including a few extra welcome goodies. Will definitely stay again the next time we're in the area.

Spacious retreat
This was a spacious, comfortable, clean second floor loft that was so close to the lake. It has great amenities including a towel warmer and was decorated with freshly cut flowers!

Amazing!
We traveled here to attend a family wedding in the area. The loft was absolutely beautiful and perfect! Stacey was so accommodating when we were running late with the kayaks! Fresh flowers and snacks were in the loft along with the many extra amenities! We loved our stay!

We have stayed at the loft house for several years now. Perfect location to Rock Creek Marina. Stacy provides the best bath towels, soaps, snacks, coffee pods, and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook at home. We’ll be back!

Beautiful location and comfortable loft!
We enjoyed a relaxing few days kayaking, fishing, and playing in nearby Topeka. The property was very accommodating for our family, and we appreciated the kindness and generosity of the owners. Of course our kids loved the yummy snacks that were provided! We felt very welcome and comfortable in the property. Thank you!

Upstairs loft by Rock Creek Marina
We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The rooms are cute and plenty of space for family of 4. The owners add nice little touches like snacks and bottled water in the fridge and fresh flowers. The grounds are beautiful with no neighbors close by (all you see out the windows is greenery). There is a fun tire swing that the kids enjoyed and a large ouside table. The house has all the essentials, good wifi, charging station, toys and games for the whole family. We would definitely recommend staying at this place!

Mom,Daughters and Granddaughters get away
My oldest daughter lives in the area. They drive by this property a lot and remarked how lovely it is and that it is right by Lake Perry. It was perfect for our weekend getaway. We were greeted with fresh flowers, fully stock kitchen. The selection of tea and local honey was our favorite! We all enjoyed the towel warmer in the bathroom! Very clean and cozy! We will definitely be back!

Nice place for famiky weekend at KU
Three adults enjoyed our stay. I would say it wasn't the cleanest place we've stayed. Looks like it needs a good deep cleaning. The sheets on the bedroom off the living room didn't smell like they had been washed. Was a quiet place with pretty scenery. Beds were decent. Kitchen had a lot of items to cook with. We thought the furniture was very comfortable. Gave this 4 stars because of the cleanliness. If that were fixed, we would stay here again.

Perfectly Perfect
This place was great for our weekend getaway after our wedding. It was easy to get to and very clean. It was nice not to have to travel far at all after getting off of the lake. The owners had snacks on the counter for our arrival and since we were there over Easter, the Easter Bunny even left us some eggs with candy outside the entry! :) They have all of the kitchen necessities you need to cook, as well as all of your bedding and bathroom towels. It was great to be able to just pack a bag and food, and leave all of the other things at home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would stay again! Great place all around!!

The little things make a difference
Stacy is a great renter that pays attention to the little things that make a difference. For example, the towels were plush. There was snacks, water, coffee, etc. for the taking. The kitchen pans were good - not hand-me-downs. And if we had a need or question she was quick to reply. Great place to rent that I'd recommend if anyone wants to stay in the area. Brian

Great place - four and a half stars.
The cottage is very roomy, very clean and very quiet. Marshal and Stacy are super nice and accommodating. Ya have to add their phone service code to your phone to get cell phone service. It is a 20 - 30 minute drive to most restaurants, museums, shopping, etc., but we didn't mind. There's a floating restaurant on the lake a stones throw away, that opens mid-May, which also has a floating motel (pretty cool but mayflies everywhere). Topeka is not a place for kids unless they like nature: hiking, biking, fishing and boating (no amusement parks). We (husband 62, wife 57) are hiking and biking trail nuts and there was no shortage of those! Right down the street are some really good trails at Perry Lake and at Perry State Park further down the road, Clinton Lake State Park has really nice trails and Parkville Nature Sanctuary, etc. Deer and turkeys were everywhere; some were up and close. We hiked and biked so much in the first 3 days that our legs, ankles and feet were screaming at us; nothing one day of taking it easy didn't cure and then were back on the trails the last 2 days of our vacation. We never vacation in the same place more than once because there is too much to see and explore in our blessed country, praise God. But we really enjoyed our vacation at the Rock Creek Loft House and highly recommend it to all the nature nuts out there.
