"Bathroom was very small. . . .no Kleenex. Good coffee! Knowing the story behind the sale and rehab of the motel. . .it is nice to see this type of accomodations so close to the lake and one of our favorite dining places. There is still room for upgrades and I am sure that will come along with the success of the property. Yes we will stay there again. . . and we only live 15 miles away!! PS the bed was GREAT!"

"This is the third time I’ve stayed at the Clayton Plaza Hotel and it has been just right every time. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is an excellent bonus. The rooms are spacious and clean. Our room had a huge shower and a bathtub. "

"Our stay was amazing. We had easy check in. We settled into our room and than went down for a nice meal at the atrium cafe. Which was nice because we didn’t have to leave the hotel and come back. The food was amazing We really enjoyed our stay "

"I really enjoyed my stay, I had a suite. The only issue I had with it, i could not get the front room tv to connect to wifi, so i couldnt use any of the apps, and the front desk had no idea how to make it work. I paid about $200 for one night with no tv kinda upsetting to not have such a small thing to work. For that price, i feel like thats the least you can do is make sure your stuff is working. "

"The staff is friendly, but not very helpful. Emphasis is put on the mobile ap, rather than personal recommendations, which is a bit disappointing. We didn't want to spend time exploring the ap (which we had already looked at when trying to book) we wanted someone with experience to give suggestions for us to do during our less than 24 hour stay (that didn't happen).
