"It was a great surprise to find this amazingly comfortable colonial home in the heart of Nicosia! Renovated to the last detail, clean, practical, aesthetic, homely, warm, cozy, with a romantic Nicosia style garden, covered verandas, in a quiet yet old classy neighbourhood of Nicosia, very close to the centre and to the old town. "Great place to stay in a pinch. Off the beaten path, with limited food, grocery, shopping options within a mile walk. Due to my own ignorance, I don't speak any Greek, and the proprietor doesn't speak much English at all, which makes things difficult as you have to call to be let in upon arrival. The apartment building has no noise insulation...as in, I could hear our next door neighbors conversing as if they were in our room.
