"Very good location, as there are hiking trails nearby, and close proximity to Anse Marcel, Orient and Grand Case, to enjoy the beaches and the food. The scenery from the back patio/pool, overlooking the water, was exceptional. With Pinel island, just right there you can take a short kayak ride (provided). Latetia, was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely come back!"

"It was a cozy logcabin house with just enough space for a family of 4. Large pool and patio area to relax by and enjoy the warm weather. The owners are super friendly and very informative. We even got to spend the New Year together on their patio watching the fireworks. We would definitely return for another visit. Thank you Judith and Richard! "

The location is unbeatable—the beach is your backyard, and it’s within walking distance of Grand Case’s best restaurants, a supermarket (SuperU), mini-marts, and a pharmacy. Directly across the street is a place called Mimi’s that offers great food at a good price.For snorkeling, head out the back door, look left, and walk down to the rocks at the foot of the hill leading to Happy Bay. "Marie was a wonderful hostess. Great location and very clean. Would definitely stay here again. It’s away from the hustle and bustle but would highly recommend a rental car as there is much to see on the island."

"This property is beautiful and is as shown online. However, the entire island is dealing with constant power outages and this property in particular goes 10 hours + a day with no water or power. After the 2nd day of this we had to leave because it wasn’t feasible to stay. I contacted the host and he wasn’t responsive. Incredible views and great location

"We had an amazing stay at Villa Valhalla! Daphne, the property manager answered all of our questions and created a helpful information package that helped us make the most of our visit. The house and its location are absolutely breathtaking. Our group of 10 people (3 families) couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Even though our flight was delayed, meaning we didn’t arrive until around 8:30 PM, Catherine, the lovely housekeeper, was there waiting at the community security gate to guide us to the house and give us a tour. When we opened the doors and saw the ocean shimmering in the moonlight before us, we were completely in awe. Catherine had thoughtfully prepared a generous welcome basket with snacks and a bottle of wine, which was such a nice touch. The house was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and it felt so comfortable, like home. We ended up cooking most of our dinners at the house so we could enjoy the incredible views, pool, and hot tub. Homere, the pool and garden manager, was friendly, quiet, and very respectful. Pierre, the house manager, stopped by the day after we arrived to check in and make sure everything was going well. We went on a Kayak tour to Pinel Island one day and when we returned, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the house and our rooms had been refreshed with clean towels. What a thoughtful touch! The walk to Dawn Beach is a short stroll downhill, and we were on the beach within minutes. We wholeheartedly recommend Villa Valhalla"
