Incredible panoramic views of the Caribbean and St. Barts! The Jewel has been completely renovated. Now the Jewel has a 5th bedroom and bath with its own entrance for grandparents or those wishing more privacy from the group.We do not rent this studio separately but do include it in the 5 bedroom price. The studio has one queen and a set of bunk beds. The 4 master bedrooms have king beds one with an additional queen futon sleeper.

Villa Caribbean Jewel is located in the exclusive gated community of Tamarind Hill Estates on the Dutch side of the island near the French/Dutch border. A few minutes drive to Dawn Beach, Orient Beach, and Guana Bay Beach. Numerous outstanding restaurants 2 minutes away. Ten-Fifteen minutes away from the Dutch capital of Philipsburg and shopping.

This luxury Mediterranean-style villa features remote controlled gated entry, lush gardens, extensive balconies and terraces, and a private pool with a disappearing edge.The entire villa can be rented with one, two, three,or four master bedroom suites featuring king sized beds, private balconies, air conditioning, and in-suite baths. We have added a 5th bedroom studio apartment with a kitchen. 5.5 total baths to accommodate 13 guests with an additional sleeper futon in one of the bedrooms. We have a portacrib for our little guests. Each bedroom has a beautiful view of the Caribbean with views of other caribbean islands. Ursula our housekeeper who resides on the property in a separate discreet apt. is available for all your questions and needs. She will escort you from your car rental to the beautiful Caribbean Jewel. This fully equipped private home has it all from the cool caribbean breezes to breathtaking views of the sea, mountains, and gardens.

Keywords: Luxury villa with all the comforts of home. Yes we have a BACKUP GENERATOR that runs the entire villa during a power loss so you never miss a day of paradise. We have a vonage line for free calling to home to check on the family to tell them how wonderful your vacation is. All the beds are kings with private baths in the main house and a queen and bunk bed with a private bath and kitchenette in the 5th bedroom with stairs up to the pool/main floor of the villa. Welcome to Paradise!!!!

Fantastic vacation!
The jewel was an amazing place! There were 3 couples in our party and we stayed for 6 nights at this wonderful property. Ginny was very helpful with all of her communication. The house is equipped with everything you might need. Loved our vacation at the jewel.

Amazing Views
Our stay here was amazing. Ursula was gracious enough to cook for us and the food was amazing. Definitely recommend her for cooking if you need a chef while visiting. We were a mixed group celebrating several birthdays and the recommendations for the host and host manager was perfect! I look forard to visiting the island again and will definitely choose this property when staying on the dutchside! The views are amazing and I miss them already!

Island Paradise
This house is exactly what we were looking for! The views and ocean breeze are amazing. All long beds with private bathrooms made it just as comfortable for our guests as it was for us. The icing on the cake was definitely Gizmo and Ursula’s hospitality. We were chauffeured all around the island and made to feel so welcome. We can’t wait to return!!

First time to the island, and so glad we stayed at the Jewel! From the minute, you pull into the driveway you feel like you are in paradise. The house was very clean, and plenty of beds for our whole crew. Ursula is such a gift! She was so helpful, offering advice, and even cook us dinner one night!. Ginny was incredibly responsive and helpful in her advice on the island. I don’t think I would do Saint Martin again without staying here.

This house sits among the hills of St. Marteen on the Dutch side. It has a spectacular view of the ocean and gorgeous sunrises. Had a great week with my family celebrating a year of birthdays with cake Ursula baked for us. Pool was a big hit.

Definitely a Jewel
We booked this house for my wife’s and my 50 birthday party with friends. We had such a good time. The house and views were perfect. Ursula, the caretaker of the house was very helpful and a great cook.

Beautiful Ocean View and Grounds
From the moment we made our reservation, the information was flowing for car rental, restaurants, beaches, directions, and suggestions to ensure our vacation was enjoyable and memorable. Ursula was very accommodating and a good cook. She took us food shopping, made us guacamole, bar-be-que chicken and arranged for us to have massages at the house. She was full of stories and made us laugh.

Stunning location and very helpful and informative host. Her recommendations and assistance in setting up transportation were critical for us to enjoy our time on island where we had never been before. House is exactly as advertised if not better. Gracious Host with excellent communication
Lovely property with ocean views! The owners of the property were extremely responsive and gracious! Ursula, the onsite caretaker, was excellent! We requested that she make a dinner upon arrival as we had a long day of travel to get there and it was delicious! She offered to bake some things for us and overall went above and beyond! The owners were outstanding! We had some days of high winds, but we worked around them. Highly recommend the full day luxury catamaran snorkel trip and the ribs at Loterie Farm! Felt very welcome and at home at this property😄

Anniversary getaway
It was more breathtaking than the pictures and descriptions. It was absolutely a wonderful time. The housekeeper was magnificent and available for accompanying us around the island to show us all the places to go as well as going to the market with us. Without her we would have never gotten around as well as we did. The view of the ocean from the balconies or from the pool just allowed your mind to leave everything behind. The communication with the host was great as well. Cant say enough about it. Definitely paradise!

Right at home
The views in this house our unbelievable and never get old. The home is comfortable and welcoming but doesn’t compare to how welcomed Ursula made our family feel. It is clean and very well stocked with all the important necessities. The bedroom and beds are amazing. Look no further this is the vacation home dreams are made of. Also make sure you ask if Ursula can cook for you it will be the highlight of your vacation!!! We will be returning to this property! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful home.

Spectacular Views!!
We had an amazing trip, and the views of this property are beyond spectacular!! Cliche as it may sound, but the pictures do not do it justice as actually being there. In addition to the views, the highlight was also having Ursula and Gizmo!! Can’t say enough about these two beautiful and amazing people. Ursula made the most delicious meal for us the 1st night, and checked in with us every day making sure everything was okay or if we needed anything. And Gizmo truly made our trip exceptional and memorable with his availability, timeliness, and all his recommendations, not to mention his charming personality and sense of humor!! And Ginny was wonderful, easy to communicate with, and was always quick with responding. Would definitely recommend this property!!

Wonderful property
Our family stayed a week at the Jewel. The house was exactly as advertised and we all had great time. Ursula and Gizmo are a must while staying at the property. Ursula helped us with any questions and recommendations. She also cooked for us a couple of times and it was wonderful. Gizmo, our driver for the week was very punctual and full of information. We had 3 teenage ladies with us and he meshed with them very well. Ginny was very responsive to any needs and questions. She had a very detailed tip sheet to help with all the decisions. A Gem of a Time
Villa Jewel was the perfect vacation spot for our family of 11 (8 adults, 3 children). We all fell in love with the villa from the moment we walked in. The views were amazing and we all loved falling asleep listening to the wind and waves. The house was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. Ginny was a pleasure to deal with. She was so helpful and very quick to answer any questions we had. The housekeeper Ursala, was wonderful. She was pleasant from the moment we arrived until we parted. She kept everything well cleaned and organized so we could enjoy our stay. We can't wait until we can return again.

Paradise
Everything about this property and house was amazing! Every morning I woke up at 7am to take a dip in the pool and enjoy the spectacular views of the ocean and St Barts among other islands out in the distance! The house was very clean and spacious! The host Ursula was so sweet and made sure we had everything we needed! The owner of the house also suggested that we could hire a driver that she knows named Gizmo , so we took advantage of that and I have to say he was on point! Gizmo so informative of things to do and places to go and we never had to wait for his arrival as he was always on time! Our entire vacation was amazing from enjoying the stay at the house to all the beaches and restaurants we went to! I would highly recommend renting this property and enjoying a wonderful getaway to St Martin!

Our stay was great. Ginny was responsive to us when I called about us coming to Saint Maartan because of blizzard in Iowa and gave us ideas where to stay a few days early. Ursula was very helpful and suggested places to visit. Ursula cooked us a fabulous Christmas Eve Dinner and muffins. Our house was great. The rooms were roomy and clean. Our family said it was so much better than staying on a resort. They had privacy in their rooms and enjoyed the common area of kitchen, dining and family room where we could join and visit. Nice area and table to visit outside. Gizmo drove us a few times and he was so fun and very informative. Our stay was very memorable and would recommend highly to friends and family. We had beautiful view every morning to wake up to.

Beautiful Home with Breathtaking View!
This villa is as advertised, except I would say 2 master suites and 2 nice large bedrooms, although all four couples were satisfied. The view is spectacular and the home very clean. The caretaker, Ursula, lives in her own appt on site and is wonderful. She not only keeps the home & grounds spotless but will escort you to buy groceries, make pina coladas and the best guacamole we've ever had. She cooked us an amazing meal one night. She is a "Jewel". The road to this villa is very steep and curvy and the parking is tight. We appreciated the solitude on this hillside, but you do need to drive (or cab) to dine anywhere. We would definitely rent again!

Exceptional experience
We had a wonderful time staying in this property. Our experience started at the minute when I booked it on VRBO. Ginny, the owner has been very helpful in answering our questions and giving us tips of where to go. The house is exceptional! Beautiful ocean views from every corner of the house. Safe neighborhood and Ursula keeps the house super clean. Oh, Ursula! What a genuine and kind soul. Her hospitality and wonderful cooking made us feel home. And she’s always made sure that we were comfortable by giving us our privacy. An additional friend we made during this stay is Gizmo who doesn’t live on the property and he’s always approachable when we needed a ride. If we knew how good his service was, we would have used him for the week instead of renting a car. Next time! We’ll be back.

Fabulous Family Vacation
We just returned from a very memorable and fabulous nine day stay at The Caribbean Jewell. It was a family affair with five of my brothers and sisters along with their spouses. It was perfect for our family to creative great memories and have lots of fun. The house is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. The views are priceless. Ginny's tip sheet was great and we used it a lot. She is absolutely wonderful to work with. Ursula was the icing on the cake. She would fix delicious meals when we asked. Her mac and cheese is to die for. She always had great drinks readily available. With us being new to the island her expertise and navigating skills got us to where we needed to go. Her knowledge of the island and history was very informative and educational. We can not say enough good things about this beautiful villa and Ursula. We highly recommend the Caribbean Jewell for a wonderful vacation.

Perfect stay
I don't know where to start. This was the perfect house for our family of 10. Ginny was so easy to work with and her response time was always quick. The property had a beautiful view of the ocean. The bedrooms were very spacious. There were plenty of towels including beach towels. The kitchen was very well stocked. There is air conditioning in all the bedrooms. Ursula cooked us a few meals which were amazing. You must try her quiche. She even brought up muffins one day just as a nice gesture. She kept the place tidy and took great care of us. We hired Gizmo for the week and it was a great decision. It was great not having to navigate the roads and he was available whenever we needed him and was always on time. He and Ursula are true gems. We fell in love with St. Martin, and a lot of it had to do with Ginny and her house, Ursula, and Gizmo! We will be back!

Exceeded Expectations
We party of 6 (seniors age 67-75) stayed here for 11 days March 2024. The views were beyond description. It was quiet. It was private. The kitchen had all required necessities (and EVERYTHING WORKED & was easy to use). The location was central and we explored and went to different beaches and beach clubs almost everyday (a few days we just stayed at the villa, used the pool and enjoyed the view. The AC in the bedrooms worked great. We used the gas BBQ. We hired a private chef one night who came in and cooked for us. It was easy to buy groceries and we cooked and ate in several nights and ate out the other nights (lots of options). The islanders were VERY friendly. The villa has an on sight, full time caretaker.....(& she's the real "jewel"). The beds were comfortable, the showers were easy to use and the water temp was easy to control. We never watched the TV, or used the stereo system. The living room furniture was plentiful and comfortable. We NEVER felt unsafe anywhere on the island (and the Villa is in a gated community to boot). If I visited Sint Maarten again I would stay at the JEWEL again. The owners communications were timely and informative. The dining room table seated 8, and there was an outdoor table too.

Gorgeous Ocean Views
The views from this property are absolutely stunning and the house had plenty of space for our extended family of 12 to hang out when we weren’t out exploring the island. We enjoyed the pool, the views and most of all the amazing Ursula’s meals she cooked for us on a few nights when we were gone all day on excursions. It was nice having dinner taken care of when we were all tired and didn’t feel like going out to dinner. She was great about answering any questions we had throughout our stay. Ginny had excellent communication before and during our stay (though we had issues with our phones working on the island so I didn’t get the messages from her until we were home, but we did get a few through Ursula while we were there. 😅) Our only issue (and this may just be us as we are Texans used to our A/C) is that the main part of the house got incredibly warm and a few of us got physically ill due to being hot. The bedrooms have A/C, but not the main part of the house. I think we just had bad luck with there not being much of a breeze during our stay, because we had one day that the breeze was great and the house stayed comfortable. We also got eaten alive by mosquitoes, but I think it was due to no breeze (which from what I understand is not the norm.) These things wouldn’t keep me from coming back, but I wanted to note them in case it helps others be better prepared than we were.
