"Great location near train station approx 6-10min walk depending on your mobility. We booked a twin room which was comfortable and had everything we needed for our one night stay. No doubt the room could do with some maintenance and a refresh. The doors loudly squeaked which wasnt great if going to the loo during the night. "The Ibis is in a good city centre location next to an NCP car park. The rooms are basic but comfy, very clean with a comfy bed. Breakfast was the only disappointment with barely warm food, an over stood egg and no forks or spoons in the cutlery tray. I have stayed here before and will do again next time I visit Aberdeen."

Breakfast was superb and the tiny waitress from Thailand who was there was great, a wonderful personality. Only drawback was the lift was not working and they tried to put us on the 3td floor, my wife just cannot do that many stairs so I asked for a room on a lower floor which ended up behind an upgrade at no extra cost. "We had a wonderful few days despite mixed weather. The cottage is very well equipped, cosy yet spacious with lovely bright bedrooms upstairs, the owners were kind and helpful and the location is lovely, great walks along the river and lovely open outlook. We hope to return soon!"
