"A older hotel, but still nice. I found the pillows and bed to be too hard--I could feel the springs in the mattress. The hotel is clean and very well kept. The front desk staff were great and the cleaning staff do an excellent job. My small frustration was the parking fee. The charged ¥1000/night for parking which I thought was fine (¥1500 or more at most places). But then I discovered it was a local surface lot that only cost ¥700 for 24 hours. That just feels "cheap" on the hotel's part."

"They have frozen bento of your choice per night. It was nice that i can eat anytime with the microwave in the room. The rooms were ouside, looks unique. But the rooms were simple as i wanted. Loved the massage chair."

"Great location transport to Nikko literally 5 minutes away and the main station about 25 minutes walk. Plenty of restaurants and things to do as well. "
