Nothing stands between you and the sand in this seaside home. Located in the heart of everything that Oxnard has to offer, you’ll still feel like you’ve escaped from it all once you settle into the sofa on the main living room, with the beach and ocean spread out in front of you – there’s also a lovely gas fireplace and a flatscreen TV with streaming capabilities and cable, but you’ll be too busy gazing out at the sea. The main floor’s open plan ensures that you’ll enjoy incredible views from not only the living room, but the dining room and kitchen as well. There’s seating for four, plus four barstools and a breakfast bar, and the full kitchen offers stainless steel appliances, a nifty plate warmer, and plenty of counter space. Upstairs is the main bedroom suite, with a king bed, a second gas fireplace, and that same killer ocean view. In the bathroom, you'll find a jetted tub that has a setting to turn the bathroom into a steam room. After a day on the beach, turn on the living room fireplace, step out onto the patio, and enjoy watching the stars rise over the Pacific after a sunset you’ll never forget.

Great stay with a gorgeous view!
This is a great property! We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets and sun raises. We loved that there were tons of game, books, and beach toys available for us to use. Celebrated getting engaged and turning 30 all in one weekend and we enjoyed every minute of our stay!

A slice of heaven
Perfect house in a perfect place! Even better than the photos. Unbelievable picturesque view onto a secluded beach. We could not be happier with our stay, and can’t wait to return for another fun and relaxing weekend getaway.

The property was right on the beach in a beautiful location. There were some things about the property that were disappointing. First, when we arrived there were linens on the table, and the chairs and bar stools were stacked in a corner. It looked like someone had not finished cleaning. In addition, there was a dirty rag left on a counter. Second, in the primary bedroom it smelled like pee on one side of the bed and there were no curtains. Third, at night in particular, the temperature was very uncomfortably warm. The house at a minimum needs ceiling fans or air conditioning.

Utter Bliss

Very old house and poor Maintnance
Unfortunately I can not give a good review Vecasa management and maintenance of the house was poor and below standard industry in any aspect. Starting with a nine working sink at the kitchen shower head that barely had any pressure and very poor quality of bedding‘s sheets towels and not good mattresses. For what we paid it is just not acceptable. After complaining to Vecasa that the kitchen sink did not work during all our stay and maintenance guy did not come and fix the claim that they try to call and that the sink work with the sensor which is a lie and had offered a $20 credit on our next stay. Of course I rejected and told them that I will just write a review so long booking with Vecasa in the future

Heaven on the Sand

We were comfortable but at the same time had some issues of what was not available to us for the length of our stay; no dressers for clothes, laundry soap, no dishwasher pods, enough dish soap…for what we paid fir the stay, the amenities were not available to us, coming from Sacramento & Colorado… 😒

Great location with plenty of room
Sandcastle by the Sea is in a wonderful location right on the beach with plenty of room for a family or two! Good parking on site with either the garage or the driveway. Lots of things to play with in the sand! Lots of amenities!! We will be back!

This Beach Home is Great!
Our family loved Tara by the Sea, on the sand with magnificent views of the ocean. We had nightly sunset cocktails in the spacious, comfy gathering room/bar.The large kitchen was fully stocked, equipped & ready for snacks or meals…The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable… There were plenty of good towels and a well stocked laundry room. There were surprises and touches of hospitality everywhere… They had sodas, snacks and even light-up necklaces for the kids. This home makes vacationing easy. ..We are ready to return!

Fantastic stay for all!!
We had a terrific weekend at this gorgeous beach location..the house was incredible..and the location is the best ever..we watched incredible sunsets and played on the beach. The house has a fantastic selection of beach toys..we even flew a kite!!! We are definitely coming back again!!
