"The hotel is very dated and the rooms a little quirky. Our room in particular sloped in various directions the tv bureau sloped one way and the desk table another. Difficult when trying to make a coffee in the morning when the cup slides down the table. However an enjoyable stay."

We especially enjoyed breakfast, wish there was a vegetarian meat option but wasn’t a huge deal as there’s so many other options. The staff/ service was really good. "The setting is wonderful, the rooms are clean and surprisingly light. The mattress was possibly from when it was a prison (it was awful), so didn't get much sleep."
