"On arrival we found out the room had changed and as we'd veen looking forward to this specific room, we were initially disappointed. The staff however went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay and helped make it special with free drinks and unlimted golf. The room we were given was lovely and unique. We enjoyed it as much as we would have the other one i am sure. There is building ongoing to the new spa and to some rooms but it was never an issue and the noise was limited to reasonable times so not to disturb guests. The play area for kids looked epic, the golf was fun and the breakfast was fantastic with loads of choice and food made to order as well as a buffet. We had a short drive to the Dabaling Duck snd visted Rising castle, Castle Acre and took in the beauty of the small villages and scenary. All in all a lovely place and location to explore."

"Very friendly staff, the food was amazing we had fish and chips with peas the fish was a good size portions couldn’t finish it. The room was brilliant well fitted out had a small kitchen that we didn’t expect to have, the views were amazing of the church. Every where was very clean.. will be booking again.. to all staff thank u for giving us an amazing stay "

"Loved the place. It was right next door to Oxburgh Hall where we wanted to visit. The weather was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better location. Staff were attentive and the breakfast was probably the best we've had. Couldn't finish it all. It was very tasty. The only criticism we have and it's something that would take very little to rectify was the housekeeping side of things. Noticed a few cobwebs hanging from the ceiling as well as cobwebs in thee radiator. The area at the back of the bed was also quite dusty. The toilet seat wouldn't stay up which obviously didn't bother the Mrs as much but when I went to the toilet I had to hold it up with my hand. The last thing was the shower head. It looked like it needed a good clean. For all the negatives these wouldn't stop us staying there again. We had a great couple of nights sleep, the place was pretty as a picture with lovely grounds and in an area steeped in history. Overall a very positive visit. "

"Parking lot was a bit hard to find as there was a large bus parked right in front of where you need to turn. Traveling by car as an American from London, the roads are narrow and lots of one ways. If I had been driving a bit more, most likely wouldn’t have felt a bit overwhelmed. The overall stay was great! You’re within walking distance of the cathedral and lots of local shops- food and goods. Great cafe down the road as well as a pharmacy. The room was great and dinner was amazing! Best fish n chips I had all trip! Parking lot was great once we found it! 😁"
