"We thought that the location was great. Right across the station. Walking distance to some restaurants and shops. The daily Japanese breakfast was delicious and convenient. Would definitely stay here if we decide to come back to Aizuwakamatsu again."

"A true gem, easily one of the most memorable and charming places I have ever stayed in. The staff were all so warm and hospitable. We had a toddler with us and everyone was so sweet and genuinely kind to us, a group of foreign visitors. Every part of the hotel was furnished with charm and personality, with care given to even the smallest details such as the daily floral arrangements and warm matcha and snacks upon our return. The rooms and onsen were all extremely clean and well maintained....

"This place is falling apart at the seams. The property is old and musty with bugs. The food was passable but it’s one of very few choices in the area. The onsen bath takes literally hours to fill (8-10 inches per hour) and the location is so remote it takes several trains which run once an hour at most. Staff are lovely but avoid this place!! "

"Staff was friendly. We really really appreciated the free shuttle pick up and drop off from train station. That saved us big time since not much taxis in this area and the time we arrived. Hotel overall needs a renovation. A bit old and outdated. Room was ok. "

"The worst experience for check in as they messed up our booking - wrong unit number and code were informed, and it was for another Rakuten stay, not this facility! The facility is new, a huge living & dining area compare to Nasu where we stayed a year ago. Too many huge bugs in the balcony, lots were dead already but not cleaned… narrow parking area and the aisle "
