But the 1st night was very cold in the room, next day the host adjust ed the heater, got better but still was not comfortable with the low temperature. no bed lamps, no plug in for charger near the bed. "This property was very clean on check in. The village is so cute and friendly. If you want a big city experience, this is not for you. But if you want a quiet, relaxing vacation with plenty to do just short drives away I highly recommend you stay here! The couple that owns the property is so kind and welcoming and I am so glad I had the chance to meet them!"

"My Partner and I decided to spend Xmas in Winterberg. We chose Ms Thiels property from the photos and its location. Both were accurate and lived up to expectations. It’s location is excellent for access to Winterberg, 10 mins away, the lake and walking trails across the road. The property was comfortable and fitted out meet a home from home experience. We enjoyed our Xmas and stay very much. The only downside is the lack of internet access."
