SUNRIVER CARRIAGE HOUSE

Escape to the serene beauty of Heritage Harbor Resort with a stay at the Sunriver Carriage House, your perfect vacation retreat! This charming second-level unit, accessed via exterior stairs on the side of the house, offers privacy and picturesque views of the Illinois River.

Step inside to find a thoughtfully designed space filled with natural light, featuring a full kitchen with an island and everything you need for a cozy stay. As a quiet end unit, this cottage promises a peaceful getaway while keeping you close to the area's many attractions.

Traveling with your furry friend? We're a pet-friendly home! Your K-9 companion will love exploring the new Heritage Harbor River Run Dog Park just down the road. (Additional pet fees apply.)

The Sunriver Carriage House comfortably accommodates two guests with its plush queen-size bed. Outside, enjoy your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine on the private deck, complete with a table and seating to savor the sunshine and fresh air of Starved Rock Country.

House Rules:
During your stay, we ask that you remember to be respectful of your neighbors. Quiet hours are from 10pm- 7am.  Events, parties or gatherings in or around the home are forbidden. Tents are not allowed on property. For real, take the party to the many downtown bars, where live music is always playing.

We love pets, however we have some limitations. Sunriver Carriage House has a one dog maximum with a 75lb maximum weight limit. There is a $100 non-refundable pet deposit that is required when you are bringing your fur friend along. Please make sure that your pet(s) are leashed while you are out and about Heritage Harbor. Also, your pet must be caged if you decide to leave fido unattended. Should you choose to ignore this, there will be a $300 fine assessed for breaking these rules.

We kindly remind our guests of our "no smoking" and "no pets" policy to maintain the highest quality and cleanliness of our properties. This policy applies to all animals.. Non-compliance with either policy will result in a $300 fine.

We greatly appreciate your cooperation and respect for our homes. Thank you for helping us provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests.

Also, do not forget to enjoy all the nearby amenities of the Resort and town of Ottawa, activities including swimming, fire pits, kayaking, kite flying, trail hiking/walking, bike riding trails, craft beer and wine tasting, zip lining, sky diving, glass blowing, and much more, not to mention the fun you will have just strolling around the Harbor.

I enjoyed the stay but the outside spiders web should have been wiped down.
I enjoyed the stay but the outside spiders web should have been wiped down. The sponge was really gross so I had to buy another one. Also I got spoked b/c a black box was placed on my door when I wasn't there and I would have liked to have known that would be added b/c felt like someone was there when I arrived home b/c something was different. I enjoyed the views and the cottage was very comfortable. I would stay again if it would still be an option when I return. Very friendly and I was running 30 min late so he stayed b/c they were due to close at 6 and I arrived at 630, then offered me a water, gave me a map and explained everything. very friendly!

Just as advertised
The house seemed new and very clean. It has a nice view of the water from the porch. We liked that we could get into town in about 5 minutes and were about 20 minutes from Starved Rock. There is a nice restaurant in the subdivision if you wanted to get out for food or a drink but not wanting to drive into town. No complaints at all.

It's a great place to relax! It is fun to walk around the property and look at the styles of cottage

Team members were helpful in recommending places to eat. Thanks! In prior visits on a girls' weekend, we got to tour 3 of the properties for sale, which was super fun.
