Views! Views! Views! Enjoy two levels of spectacular views from this retreat home with your family and friends. Located on the north side of the Cottages at Herons Landing neighborhood, you’ll be spoiled by the views from both the porches and balcony.
On the ground floor, take in panoramic views of the waterfront, as you dine on the side patio, taking in the sunset as you have a delicious meal made in the wonderfully appointed kitchen.
On the upper level, you guessed it: a stairway to the cozy loft!
We invite you to come enjoy this home and fly a kite or just have fun with your family and friends. You will truly create campfire stories to last a lifetime.

House Rules:
During your stay, we ask that you remember to be respectful of your neighbors. Quiet hours are from 10pm- 7am. For real, take the party to the many downtown bars, where live music is always playing.

We kindly remind our guests of our "no smoking" and "no pets" policy to maintain the highest quality and cleanliness of our properties. This policy applies to all animals.. Non-compliance with either policy will result in a $300 fine.

We greatly appreciate your cooperation and respect for our homes. Thank you for helping us provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests.

Also, do not forget to enjoy all the nearby amenities and activities including swimming, fire pits, kayaking, kite flying, trail hiking/walking, bike riding trails, craft beer and wine tasting, zip lining, sky diving, glass blowing, and much more, not to mention the fun you will have just strolling around the Harbor.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!
A wonderful property secluded on the river in a new development with lots to do. A short drive to Starved Rock, and plenty of things to do in Ottawa. The place was clean and well furnished. The stairs to the loft are a bit intense, but there isn’t another way to do it, so no big deal! We’d definitely come back!

We enjoyed every minute of it.
We enjoyed every minute of it. The 2 grandsons we brought with us (ages 9 and 4) are still talking about the dead buffalo (fish) they netted from the river and examined with sticks for more than an hour. They agree that they had a great time and would love to go back. Bridget was a wonderful ambassador for your community. She was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the resort and answered all of our questions. She did not do a hard sell but allowed us decide what we wanted to see. Jeremy gave a great tour of the Illinois River and again, shared a lot of information about fishing, swimming, and boating on the river, information that only a local who loved where he was could have. You are lucky to have both of them representing you.
