"This was an amazing stay. The staff was A-1 it was clean comfortable and the beds were the best! The location was great. The street behind the Citco bank provides lots of fun and live music on Thursday and Saturday. If you don’t want to rent a car and enjoy staying at mambo beach 2.00 will get you there on the bus. "I thought this place would have been a much better experience. The only redeeming quality was the gentleman who was very nice and took me to and from the airport. Otherwise this location was a DISASTER. Not only did my key stop working in the middle of my trip, it took a while to fix the situation- there is no office so i by chance saw a cleaning lady. "This was a gem in the Otraband area..walkable to the "bridge" and area on other side of the bridge, restaurants, RIF fort..Starbucks etc. Absobutely Charming...owner is taking one of the historic buildings and turning it into a 23 room hotel..restaurant and bar, pool, AC, .note if you need a downstairs room as this has a historic set of stairs too! "Very interesting experience. Colorful buildings. An old ice cream factory turned hotel/hostel/residence. Pool on property and parking usually available. I didn't get the breakfast package but it was mediocre. $22 or so a person. Worth it just to try but it's best to venture out. The pool was nice. No hot tub. The staff were nice and informative. Also no really hot water, just tolerable enough to take a warm shower with open stall style. Yes, water will get on the floor even if you're careful....

"Great place! Had 2 bedroom bungalow with another couple and felt plenty of space and privacy. Pool is very clean and good size with lovely patio. No dish soap, no hand soap, only a shampoo/body wash gel in the shower. All towels provided for bath and kitchen. Free shuttle every morning to nice large supermarket for food and supplies. "
