"We had to move 1 of the rooms because of the smell. Both rooms were down market and dirty. There was an unpleasant smell in the corridors as well. Sound proofing was poor so we were kept awake by shouting and arguments in other rooms. Parking was supposed to be an option but when we arrived they told us it had to be booked at least 15 days in advance. So we had to leave the car on a dodgy street round the corner. "The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Generally, the room was fine; however, housekeeping is provided every eight days. So, this may be an issue for some; I simply adjusted. Further, BBC News and France in English are the only two English language television stations provided. But, like most tourists, I didn’t come to Paris to watch tv. As far as location, this hotel in Montmartre is very near train stations and bus stops. There are many shops and eateries nearby also."
