"The hotel is just outside the main shopping area, but within east waling distance. Transport links are within a 15-20 minute walk from the bus or train stations. The hotel bedroom was spacious, with enough storage for clothing. The amenities within the room, were good including the size of the television and a good coffee making machine. "This is an old hunting lodge type hotel with plenty of old character; displaying stuffed animals, everyday items from yesterday year hanging from the ceilings, walls or perched on windowsills! Each of the 40 plus rooms upstairs were named by European cities as well as numbered. You had an old fashioned key to open & close your room! Our room 'Turku' was a tad stuffy, although there was a ceiling fan or windows to open as an option. Breakfast had a good selection of hot & cold, cereals, pastries...

"The room was very comfortable and the staff quite gentle and amiable. The hotel is located in the central area of the town. Highly recommended."

"The hotel is in poor condition. Beds were not in good quality. Isolation between the rooms was weak, you could hear talks and TV sound very clearly from neabour room. The smell in WC was disturbing. Nice things: balcony, outlook to the lake and swimming area. Room price is rather low but not worth of even that money"

"The rooms are spacy, well equipped and furnished and the overall cleanliness is super. The staff is very friendly and caring. The location is excellent nearby the beautiful Pyhäjärvi lake, several interesting destinations and trails. The old Tartu city is worth a day trip as well. Minor drawbacks (to Finns) are small saunas and their related facilities."
