"A beautifully renovated hotel in the centre of the town. Breakfast is served from 7 - 10, is excellent with a wide choice of sweet and savoury to keep up you going for the day. The hotel is within walking distance of all the sights, restaurants and cafes. We rented a car, so parked it in the hotel’s underground garage for €21 a night. "Generally excellent hotel close to the centre. The buffet breakfast is ample and very good. The television in my room did not work and could not be fixed during my short stay. The tub/shower arrangement is a bit treacherous getting in and out."

"The room was nice and clean; the owner seemed a little put out at first because Expedia had overbooked us and she didn’t seem to happy. When we asked her about coffee in the morning she looked at us like we’d lost our mind! It all turned out fine and she had coffee for us in the morning for a small charge. The hotel is beautiful and I wonder what the spa services would be like. We weren’t given any options to utilize them."
