Staff was helpful with changing room from single bed to requested two beds and provided recommendations to electronic and grocery shops after a trans-Atlantic flight. On site car charging was a real plus and breakfast in the morning was a classic spread of Scandinavian "bread," which is bread, eggs, cheeses, meats, fresh fruit, cereal, and much more!

Nice hotel with a convenient location.
Positioned close to the freeway, as well as the bus terminal, this hotel is conveniently located for both airport and Oslo. By bus it takes abt 25 minutes to Oslo.There are express buses to the airport, and the hotel offers free parking. The staff is friendly, both day and night shift. Pretty good sized rooms, bed was comfortable and bathroom was of good size and clean. A very good breakfast offering much choice of both warm and cold dishes.

Spacious room and the bed was so comfortable! We were in a very hot room but the staff was able to provide us with a fan, which helped somewhat. My only complaint about this place is that they have a pretty severe fly problem. There were flies everywhere! They offered to spray our room, but the thought of insecticide nixed that idea. Instead, we bought a newspaper and swatted them. We killed 18 flies in our room and there were still at least 10 in there that we counted when we left. There were flies in the lobby, and flies in the dining room, landing on the food. Really icky. The place was clean except for the flies.

Litt sliten kanskje?
Ankom hotellet litt tidligere enn jeg pleier. Rakk å bestille middag à la carte. Kalvefilet bestilt, og kom til bordet innenfor normalt forventet tid. ved filèten, som var ok i seg selv, ble det servert kokte poteter. Kalde! Da den unge servitøren ankom bordet etter noen minutter for å spørre om maten smakte, ble svaret "ja, ok nok, men potetene var kalde! Den unge kelneren svarte med et raskt beklager, og forsvant. Kanskje for å hente varme poteter? Nix. Ikke tilbud om å varme dem opp heller. Her er potensialet for forbedring betydelig. Ellers begynner vel overflatene i bygget å rope seg hese etter fornying og vedlikehold.

Jeg har bodd på Olavsgaard tildligere også. Har bestandig vært veldig fornøyd med å bo der. God service og god mat. Setter veldig stor pris på at hotellet har stor gjesteparkering med god bussforbindelse inn til Oslo.
