Finding the office to check in was simple, contrary to other reviews - I had no trouble. There are three flights of stairs that are unfriendly to wheeled luggage. No problem leaving my luggage at 9am after disembarking my cruise, but I was told although the apartment was not ready (understandable at that time) they would contact me when it was, so I could move in early. By 3.30pm i received no notification, so just returned to the office and sure enough, it was ready. Poor communication when i was told one thing, confirmed with them and reassured it would happen and then it didn't. The girl checking me in was training, stumbled a bit, but had no idea whatsoever about the actual location and area in general. After walking in the rain further than necessary following their map, once inside the locked compound the map was very poor and i ended up at three buildings before i finally located the correct one where my apartment was located. To add insult to injury, there is a gate right next to the correct building! Within three minutes from the office! I have no idea why they direct guests to walk twice as far as necessary. This was poor, and something that you don't experience stating at a hotel. During my stay, simply opening the curtains in the morning, the whole curtain rod fell from ceiling - the hollow wall anchors letting go. I called the office, and within a few hours, maintenance arrived and fixed it, as well as a few other maintenance issues.
