Budget Inn Oskaloosa
5/5 Excellent
Nice stay for the price
"What a fantastic little place. It doesn’t look like anything special from the outside, but it was very nice in the rooms. A very sweet lady checked us in, offered us waters, and even had little Tulip cookies for the Tulip Time Festival in Pella. Super sweet and kind and made us feel welcome. Bed was comfortable and the stay worked out great.
Only complaint was the overwhelming fragrance smell when we first got to the room - might be a cleaner or detergent. I am sensitive to smells and get migraines so we left for dinner and had to leave the window open and return with our own cinnamon air freshener (helps mask). My husband could smell it so but wasn’t super bothered by it, but this was the only thing I would improve."
