Lovely setting
Lovely setting and pleasant room with easy access to the old town. Breakfast taken outdoors on terrace and a communal area guests can use. Easy walk uphill through garden to old town walls where there is a lift to upper level.

What an amazing stay, the hosts were friendly and extremely helpful, the B&B is beautiful with lovely views over the Tuscan hillsides, yet 10 mins from Orvieto town up the escalator or lift! Fabulous, wish we’d stayed longer.

Nice b&b in Orvieto
Very pleasant stay just outside Orvieto walls. Short walk to elevator to reach town center. Parking on site, good breakfast and run by a delightful couple. Grounds with olive and almond trees and rambling rosemary hedges. Our room has a balcony with views over valley. Nice place to stay on your trip to Orvieto.

Gorgeous BnB with beautiful garden area
My husband and I only stayed for one night in this BnB. We were 2/3 of the way through our 7 week European vacation. I felt horrible when we arrived and realised that I had not communicated our actual arrival time with our host and hostess. However, despite our surprise arrival time, Selita's husband was very welcoming and gave us all kinds of helpful suggestions for our short visit to Orvieto that afternoon. The room was beautifully decorated with a spotless ensuite bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Selita had a lovely breakfast ready the next morning and we enjoyed chatting with her and some of the other guests over coffee and breakfast on the garden patio! We loved Orvieto and would love to come back some day and would definately stay at B&B Casa Selita again!

Conviently located from train station & bus stop.
Only 15 minutes ride from train station & conveniently located in front of a bus stop. Also, 10 minutes walk up to reach the entrance inside the walls of Orvieto. Country like setting and quiet. Breakfast is a combination of home baked cakes and store bought items. Helpful and friendly staff. Property could use some updates, but clean.

Lovely and peaceful
We really enjoyed our stay with Casa Selita! The property is so beautiful and peaceful. It’s a very quick walk up to the historic center of Orvieto. Selita is such a lovely host. I would definitely recommend everyone I know to stay at least one or two nights at Casa Selita in Orvieto. Both the b&b and the town are marvelous. If you are a Rick Steves fan, Casa Selita is featured in all of his books covering the region.

Great Location! Wonderful B&B
Casa Selita is a welcoming oasis, nestled at the base of Orvieto. It was wonderful to be able to leave our car and just walk up the path to the walled town. Selita and her husband are warm and gracious hosts, who clearly enjoy having guests. Our room was spotless and breakfast was delicious. We wish we could have stayed more than one night.

Ideal place if you travel in a car
When you are travelling in Italy in a rented car and are stopping in those Tuscany-Umbria hill towns the main problems are parking and not getting to ZTL areas. There are several solutions: - Find hotel in the center of the town, drive through narrow crooked streets in the hill, find parking spot somewhere and hope that hotel provides ZTL validation. - Find hotel in the center of the town, do not drive to the hotel, leave the car in the parking lot outside and go to the hotel on foot, probably using elevators and escalators (there are in most towns, attended by tourists). - Find hotel outside the town, with parking lot, close to the elevator/escalator if possible. In Orvieto I selected the third variant and stayed in B&B CasaSelita. Was really happy. Owners provide parking, even free sufficient parking space if the lot is full, explain in detail how to get to the town. You need to walk for 5 minutes up the steep path through olive grove and then get to an elevator and you are in the center of Orvieto. Sign warns that one should take the path on his own risk because sometimes it is shared by wild boars. The owner said that possibility of meeting one is low. So those signs were considered.an additional attraction. The B&B itself meets all standards: clean, convenient rooms, good breakfast (standard for Italian B&Bs), free kitchen access with tea, coffee, cookies etc. If I ever plan coming to Orvieto (which I’d like to), I’ll try to stay in CaseSelita again.

Cute B&B, great breakfast
Cute B&B, walking distance to city center. Owner was extremely kind and provided a lovely breakfast. The only reason I did not give the highest rating is because the room did not have air conditioning.

Great stay...country sleep with a close city action. Selina had a great breakfast with fresh fruit and breads and her own olive oil! Both Selina and her husband made us feel like the vacation we were hoping it would be. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful B and B in great location.
Our hostess Selita was very hospitable and showed us a beautiful, clean and comfortable room upstairs with a small balcony to sit outside and enjoy the evening. It is a short walk up a steep but manageable slope to arrive just outside the city walls of Orvieto.

Very relaxing stay in a quiet villa in the countryside. The road noise was constant but the location was superb just a short walk up a path to the old city.

Delightful cosy rooms with friendly hosts.
Cosy rooms in an old stone house situated at the foot of the old town. Easily accessible from the railway station. Eugenio was a gracious host and went above and beyond to show us the starting point of the trail around the city. The breakfast was delightful and included fruits and olive oil produced their property. We requested the room with wifi located on the lower floor. with a nice patio, I imagine the patios of the rooms higher up would have nicer views. We stayed four nights towards the end of October and were lucky to have decent weather. In retrospect it might have been problematic making the short trip up to the town if it had rained, since we did not have a car.

Gorgeous B & B next to Orvieto
We loved this hotel! Selita and her husband are friendly hosts and great chefs - they had homemade bread and olive oil as part of our breakfast that were wonderful! We stayed in the "tower" room, which was just beautiful and in an incredibly picturesque setting. We used the walking path to Orvieto and had a fantastic dinner near the cathedral. The hotel is enchanting, romantic, comfortable, and the staff and other guests make the place feel like home. We hope to visit Umbria again the future and we plan to stay here through most of that trip! What a wonderful place!

Lovely little B&B in Orvieto
Lovely little B&B in Orvieto. The property is very pretty, set in a nice garden where you can relax and enjoy the view. The rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable. Unfortunately the air-condition did not work well and there were lots of mosquitos so we did not sleep that well. There is parking onsite. Walking to town is very quick & easy. Breakfast was very good with home made bread and olive oil, high quality cheese and cold cuts, fruits, jam etc. Good place to stay when in Orvieto.
