"What an amazing find up so high up in the mountains. Huge room with great views of the church and mountains. The set 3 course evening meal with water and a bottle of wine for 2 was great value at €30 each."

"The property is beautifully clean and very well presented, about 8 miles from busy Cangas De Onis in a very rural, small village in the hills. Perfect for those, like us, wanting to be away from it all and perfect for exploring the spectacular Picos de Europa. Most of the time the tiny village of Llano de Con is very peaceful, only being disturbed by cowbells or the barking of dogs and there is a local bar with shop attached so basic provisions are easily acquired. Carlos and Gemma are a very hard working couple with interests in construction, cattle and dogs and your paths won't often cross even though La Pumarada is attached to their house but when they do cross you will find them very friendly and helpful. Enjoy your stay, we certainly did!"

"We ended up with an 80 Euro parking fine because the staff didn't have enough sense to tell us how the parking lot in back of the hotel worked (what the rules were). For the sake of having parked 12 minutes "early" before 6 PM on Friday night, we ended up with an 80 Euro fine even though we moved our car by 9 AM and leave on Saturday, as we were instructed to do. Hotels should either provide guest parking, or else clearly instruct guests as to the necessary procedures."
