Welcome to Ospreys Landing at Solterra Resort - only 9 miles to Walt Disney World!!

This beautiful and spacious two story home offers 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and sleeps 19! It has a West facing pool and spa/hot tub and is perfect for a family or multiple families travelling together.

BONUS ROOM - 'THE DEN'
As you enter the home you will notice the wide open concept. There is a bonus room - the Den on your left after you enter the house. The Den has a sofa that converts into a sleeper and a 32" flat screen TV. Perfect to use as an extra sleeping space or another room to watch TV.

KITCHEN and DINING AREAS
The large kitchen has granite counter tops and island with breakfast bar with 4 bar stools. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for preparing a quick snack to a full family dinner. The dining table seats 8 overlooks the pool area.

LIVING ROOM
The living room has two sofas and a large 50" wall mounted TV and DVD player. Behind the sofa are sliding doors leading to the pool area.

PARKING
There is room for 2 cars in the garage and 2 cars on the driveway. Additional parking is availabe on the street in the designated parking areas outlined with white lines.

POOL AREA
Popular by everyone is the outdoor area. The pool area has an over sized deck with large pool, hot tub/spa and water fall features. Enjoy al fresco dining with a table that seats 6 complete with ceiling fan. There are 6 sun loungers too for soaking up the rays! A children's pool safety fence.
* The pool in this home can be heated on request and is an optional extra. It can be heated for a minimum of 5 consecutive days ($175 plus tax) and the cost for heat is $35 for each night plus tax. If during the course of your stay, you decide to purchase pool heat, then there is an additional charge to cover the cost of sending out a technician to activate the system which is $40. Pool heat is recommended October-April.
* Pool heat is set to 88 F (if there is a hot tub 100-102 F) and runs from 7am - 11pm.
* Please request at least 1 week prior to arrival.

First time was not what I expected
While the property was in a great neighborhood, the home was not well cared for. Insects were present, walls and carpet were very dirty. We loved the home layout and amenities but the house needs a good deep cleaning. I would consider using VRBO again, just not the same property

Overall we enjoyed the home. The community was nice and felt safe. When we arrived it was a little confusion at the gate with our names not being on the list, but the host responded quickly once I reached out. The home looked like the pictures,but maybe from like 5 years ago. It was a few cosmetic issues that need to be addressed like the walls getting repainted and the carpet upstairs being replaced. The mattresses in all the rooms weren’t the best and definitely could be replaced. Despite the few issues, I would stay here again.

The onmy issue was the cleanliness og the home there were stains in the carpets all through the house and the walls were not clean. We were astonished at the beauty of this property.
We were comfortable and the trip to Disney was complete, the house was everything you said it would be. We will definitely be back and I will definitely be letting all of my family and friends know of this hidden gem in Florida, we are already thinking of returning next year. Best Vacation House I ever stayed in!
I have to say by far this house has been the best experience I have had at a vacation home! The house was very spacious, plenty of room for my family, the kids had room to run around inside and outside, and the safety fence at the pool area was even more convenient for the kids! The house was very clean, and everything was new! We had everything we need to prepare our meals(meals come seperately) lol! Everything was at hand for our stay and the neighborhood was beautiful! It was almost perfect.
The house itself was nice and we enjoyed the space very much. I did pay for pool heat that we never got. I even messaged when I booked if I could pay for an extra day so they could turn on the pool heat before we arrived since it was January and my birthday as well as my man's birthday. The lack of pool heat honestly kind of ruined it for me. They did end up refunding the money to me but still, I honestly tried to get it on before we ever came. There were no guests before us so me paying for them to come out the day before should have not been an issue at all. If you don't care about the pool and spa then this place is nice and you will have a good stay,

The layout of the house was great for our group of 13 (two families and two sets of grandparents). House was updated but carpet is worn and there is evidence of wear and tear throughout. There were limited linens (bath towels, beach towels and extra pillow cases for the extra pillows). Pool/spa heat was awesome! The location was good for access to Disney, depending on traffic about 30 minutes to the parks. As a former review said, getting into the resort can be a long wait!

Wonderful house!
This is a great house and has a nice backyard with no houses behind it. The home is very large and well stocked with most things you will need. My only hesitation in giving it a five star rating is because of a few minor things: only one hair dryer in the six bedroom/five bathroom house that can sleep 19, some of the towels looked like they could use some bleach, and we had to pay extra for the use of a BBQ - when you're paying that much to rent a house, the BBQ should really be included. Otherwise it's a fantastic house in a quiet neighbourhood close to shopping and restaurants. The property management people were very helpful and prompt when we called with a few things that we needed.

Great Stay for Extended Family
If you are going to Disney, the location is perfect! If you're not going to the parks, the traffic is very busy and it takes ~30 minutes to get anywhere. Traffic getting into the Soltera Gate is also always busy. The home provided enough space for our 3 families. It did not feel crowded. The kitchen was well stocked with various cookware and utensils. The refrigerator was large enough for food for our 3 families, but we ended up using a cooler for beverages. The home is well lived in and a little beat-up, but everything seemed to function just fine. If going in the winter, definitely pay for pool heat. In our experience the hot tub was very hot, but it didn't seem to heat the pool at all. But the kids enjoyed going in and out of the hot tub and pool. It was nice to have a private pool and the home backs up to woods so it is more private than other homes in the resort. The resort amenities were nice, however the resort pool quickly reached capacity many of the days during our stay, so we were turned away. But it was nice to have the private pool to return to!!!

Family Fun with a Few Flaws: Our Solterra Resort Experience
We recently stayed at a spacious 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom home in the Solterra Resort community, rented through VRBO. Our family of 15 had a good overall experience, though there were some issues. Pros: • The house was large and beautiful, offering ample space for our family to spread out and enjoy our time together. • The resort's location was convenient for accessing local attractions and amenities. • Despite some problems, we had a great time and appreciated the communal areas for family activities. Cons: • Noticeable stains on the carpet affected the home's overall cleanliness. • The couches showed significant wear and tear, making them less comfortable and visually appealing. • We experienced water leaks from the ceiling during showers, which was quite inconvenient. • The foosball table lacked a ball, which was disappointing. • The pool had leaves, small bugs, and some green algae, making swimming less enjoyable. • A hole in the pool screen allowed lizards to enter. While entertaining for the kids, it was unpleasant for the adults. • The garbage disposal didn’t work, and the maintenance staff, who spoke little English, couldn't fix it. • The laundry room sign indicated 15 pool towels, but we only found 13. We bought extra towels to avoid the $25 per towel fee. • The clubhouse was closed more often than open, especially during rainy weather. Despite these cons, we had a memorable vacation. With a few improvements, this property could be an even better place to stay.

House is lovely, location great. Few major complaints that are important for visitors
#1. Mattresses in all the rooms are horrible. If you are going to have constant visitors then they should invest in good mattresses. #2. Get clean white towels. It is not expensive to go to Walmart and upgrade towels. #3. They need some new sheets and blankets, the extras in the closet are not nice #4. There is a glass dining table so they had place mats that were dirty. I actually bought new ones and left them on the table. #5. Beach towels.. they said they had 15. Horrible.. again why not get 15 nice beach towels, all the same. #6. We paid for a heated pool , it weather was warm while we were there. The pool needed more chemicals and should have been checked twice the week we were there. #7. Club house is lovely, nice pool, nice snack bar, lazy river and health club get A+

Vacation with family of 15
This was one of my favorite vacations! I would give the location thumbs up for privacy and quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to the resort to use their amenities, was good. Groceries we had delivered a couple of times. Gas station is not far for purchasing beer and milk and eggs and bread if needed. Be ready to deal with traffic if you go anywhere outside of davenport. Now the house. The alarm was not activated when we arrived. So we did not have to mess with that. Walking into the house, we were like this is not what the pictures showed. One of the reviews someone put on before we booked was spot on. Should of believed the review. There is only 3 chairs out by the pool to sit by the table out there. The vents in the ceiling need cleaning. A cooler for beverages we had to purchase and left there for other renters. A good coat of paint on all the walls and a new area rug and pillows on the couches, clean the table under the glass that protects it. Beach towels had 7, there was not 15 or more towels as it stated on the sign in the laundry room. Silverware was limited. No salt and pepper or your everyday staples, so you will need to purchase that as well. Not much for little kids to do, besides swimming and playing hide and seek. We purchased swim toys and things for them to do. Look for a house that has a game room for little people to do if you are bringing a certain age group of kids. After we got over how much updating the house needed...it was fine. We would not go back to that location. But will go back to florida.
