One of the Better Blue Heron Units
I've stayed at Blue Heron Beach Resort about half a dozen times now. I've booked via multiple sites including the Blue Heron site itself. This unit is one of the better (and at the time of booking it was the cheapest) units. Some upgrades, but no uncomfortable furniture -- for some reason uncomfortable couches are the status quo in the updated owner units. Best of all, this unit was CLEAN. Some of the other units can be vile (the tub jets back with mold and dust caked on the ceiling fans) but this unit was great. I also appreciated that this unit is better stocked, more than a single roll of toilet paper and a single laundry pod. I still bought my own things, since I had a long term stay, but I appreciated that there were backups. In the future, I'll check if this unit is free before searching out others.

Great location and views
The Blue Heron is close to many stores and restaurants and I4 which takes you quickly to all theme parks. The views of a lake out back and theme park nightly fireworks are spectacular. The room was not huge (1 bedroom) but large enough for our family of 5 with a good size kitchen and living area and 2 bathrooms. The large pool and area out back was also very enjoyable. The owner was easy to deal with and very responsive. I would love to have to visit Orlando again and stay at this location. Thanks for the enjoyable stay.
