This is an older building, poorly/cheaply constructed with paper thin walls, non-existent insulation and terrible acoustics. We were routinely disturbed by other guests coming and going late at night and early in the morning. The buildings have three stories but it doesn't appear that there is an elevator. Our unit had a terrible musty/mildew-y smell and we had to open all the doors and windows to air it out every time we returned. One of our vertical blinds came off and we left it out conspicuously but the housekeeper didn't report it to maintenance so that was overlooked. There is a huge construction project underway right next door which created a lot of noise during the weekdays.
The best aspect of this property was the high quality of the Customer Service. We arrived around noon (check-in is after 4) so our unit wasn't ready which was understandable. One of our group has a special diet and travels with her own food which requires refrigeration. The front desk staff was kind enough to store our food in their fridge until our unit was ready and then they had it placed in our unit. Very thoughtful.
Originally the staff tried to make us pay for wifi for $10/day but I patiently explained that the VRBO listing stated wifi as an amenity. After speaking to a manager we were provided with free wifi as we should have been. That said, the wifi is very slow. We also experienced a problem with the hot water one evening but we called the front desk and they sent a maintenance person straight away and the problem was quickly resolved.
The TV's are not "SMART" and therefore you cannot watch netflix on them so that was disappointing.
If you are looking for a cheap place to stay near the parks and are not planning to spend time at the unit during the day then this is fine. It is a dated, worn out building which badly needs refreshing and appears to have been poorly constructed from the beginning. The kitchen was well appointed with everything you could need to prepare most food and paper towels, dish soap and dishwasher detergent were provided which was nice.
BEWARE that this is a TIME SHARE property so you may get the hard sell especially to score discounted park tickets. We spent 3 hours at a time share presentation (but didn't purchase - we're not idiots!). We felt it was worth it to save $300 on tickets but just be advised. We were never pressured to attend the presentation UNTIL we inquired about discounted tickets.
