Nice but older and outdated facilities and room
I booked The Fountain for a week stay over the Christmas holidays and a few days into the stay, none of our key badges worked and we were locked out of the room coming back from dinner around 9pm at night with my 6 year old niece having to badly use the bathroom. The lock on our door was broken and needed reprogramming and it took over an hour for the security police to come and over ride the lock. We had to wait outside in the cold and to make matters worse, the security promised us that an engineer will come to fix our lock but no one showed up. We had to call the front desk several times before an engineer came at 10am the next morning. This made us late for our plans the next day as we could not leave the room since our badges did not work until the engineer came to fix the lock. In addition, the rooms were older looking with outdated appliances. The location was good and close to a lot of restaurants and shops and that’s why we booked The Fountain. I would not book this resort again since no staff members made any attempt to apologize to us about being locked out of our own room. Instead they made us feel like we were bothering them by having to call them several times before we were let into the room we paid for on a very cold night. Poor customer service and training on the staff and management level.
