Actual Model Pool Home with Very Private Pool

PROSPECTIVE GUESTS: For your safety, all housekeepers have been trained in the SAFEHOME Vacation Rental Management Association Cleaning Guidelines for COVID-19. Also, there is a large bottle of alcohol based hand sanitizer in the kitchen.

This is a 4 bedroom home set up as three bedrooms and a den. It is a 2 bath vacation pool home that was the actual model three bedroom home for this community. It has $20,000 worth of upgrades, custom decorating, custom furniture and custom built- in cabinets in every room. It sleeps six and is perfect for a couple or family. Lake Berkley is an upscale community that is well maintained, quiet and secure.

The pool is also custom with a spa area that was a Jacuzzi until underground leaking pipes made us shut it off leaving a very nice location to sit and relax in the pool. Pool heat available in winter (at additional cost of $25/night). Our other favorite spot is sitting in the lanai and looking out over the large pond and conservation area that backs up to the home. This was a model home and is in an open, very desirable location. The pool is VERY private! One neighbor has a high hedge, the other has a pool privacy screen. Out back is a scenic conservation area. Pool furniture all new 9/2019. Home exterior and pool deck painted 10/2020. Interior painted 4/2021.

The home is fully equipped with linens and towels, ready for your vacation pleasure. The owners stay here. We are twenty minutes from Disney, all the attractions, shopping, golf and dining.

You can even walk to a Super Wal-Mart! The upscale gated community is very well maintained and has a club house with exercise equipment, a separate large lake with a gazebo, child's play area, barbecue area and fishing in any of the three lakes here (catch and release). You are steps from a tennis court and half-court basketball court. The home has high speed 100 MB Internet, Wi-Fi, free telephone calling to all of US and Canada, HD TV and a large flat screen TV in the great room.

Great house for a Christmas visit
The property was perfect for our family of 6. We enjoyed the pool and the neighborhood. The view from the back patio was beautiful and we spent a lot of time outside.

Fun holiday
We had a lovely holiday in Kens villa, location was great for parks and attractions, community was quiet, restful and safe. Lovely view from the pool of the lake, watched all the different birds coming and going while the sun set over the trees. Villa would benefit from a little touch up and repair but nothing that spoiled our stay. Communication from Ken and Michael was great.

So nice!
Loved this place! I’m a nature person and I loved the conservation area in the back! Waking up and seeing a mom and her ducklings was so perfect! It was a really cute house. It has a separate room literally where you can sit and enjoy a book in peace and I LOVED that. So great!

Property was cleaned well. We had a few issues during our stay but communication was good and they were taken care of in a timely manner. The bed in master bedroom was broken and sagged quite a bit. Would like to see this fixed for future guests. Overall I did like it and would stay again.

Great Community & Host
The home is as pictured and is a part of Lake Berkley, which has a beautiful lake and walking path, along with tennis courts, basketball and a community pool. We used the walking path twice daily and loved the tranquility and safety of the neighborhood. Michael was a wonderful host to work with - responding promptly. The pool area and backyard is gorgeous, looks out over a lake and was well heated for our stay. The home is as pictured and could use some furniture updating, but was clean and great for our stay.

Easy, convenient, nice stay
Everything went very well. House and pool were nice, good location. Communication with Ken was great including slightly early check in. No complaints about the house just a couple of tips. Grab some charcoal if you want to use the grill. Grab some dish soap if you just want to wash a few dishes instead of running the dishwasher. One thing that could need updating is the stove burners are hard to use because they don't fit in the pans. My wife and kids and I had a great time and enjoyed the house and pool.

The Petersons Honeymoon Get away
We got there before 4 pm and Mr Ken gave us the permission to go in. We enjoyed our wonderful stay. Everything was wonderful. The internet wasn’t working and Mr Ken made sure it got straight and also made sure someone checked to make sure it stayed working . We had some neighbors that had a late pool party every night though, but we dealt with it, after all they were on vacation to i guess. 😁 But we will go again next year. Thanks Mr Ken

Firstly thank you Ken for allowing us to use your house for our vacation. House is exactly as is in the photos very well represented. The house is in a fabulous gated neighbourhood the area of lake Berkeley is honestly beautiful with 2 community pools tennis courts right on our back yard. a lovely lake with foot path to walk around our kids loved the playground which is literally less than a minute from the house. The house inside was perfect for us 3 spacious bedrooms the rooms were plenty big enough for all of us the pool was lovely the outside lanai area was well kept no bugs or dirt etc. To be honest the only thing I could say was maybe the fridge could be updated was just a little old and dated and carpets could of been a little cleaner. but other than that everything was fabulous would highly recommend this property and would very much look forward to stay there again. Thanks Ken and family.

Blinds in living room are inoperable and look terrible. Mold on caulking on kitchen sink top. Mold on master bath shower curtain and window in shower. Nasty stained drapery near blinds in master bedroom. There is 1/4 inch opening around front door - letting in pests. Ants in master bath. Rug in living room under coffee table torn. To open garage door one must go inside-can not be locked on outside. No light in pool. Pool dirty.

Nice Home
This is a really lovely home. However, the cleaning crew is not doing a good job in performing basic cleaning duties. There were dead bugs in the sitting room, empty bottles and trash in the family room, trash and empty bottles around the pool area, the kitchen sink was dirty, and I called the owner to get permission to purchase new shower curtain liners for both bathrooms. The current ones were full of mold and mildew.. The carpet needs cleaning very badly because its light and there were many spots throughout the bedrooms. They also left what appeared to be used wet towels in the closet in the 2nd bedroom. The furniture is light so there were stains in the dining room chairs and on the sofas in the family room. However, we had a nice stay and enjoyed the location. It is a really beautiful home, it just needs some TLC.

Moldy and out dated
Let me start with the good things, Location was good. Nice back yard view. Love the layout of the house. Ken was very nice to talk with and got right back to us when booking. Neighborhood was gated and close to stores and restaurants. Only 25 minutes to I-4 Disney exit. Easy to take back roads to other parts of town. On to other points.... When we arrived I was not happy to see mold seeping through the roof line at front door. After opening the front door I had a good look around only to find the house had not been swept or vacuumed. The bed sheets were worn but seemed to have been washed. Looking into the 3rd bedroom I noticed a grey stain on the carpet near the closet, so I opened the closet door.... Shocked...MOLD on wall and carpet. Upon calling the owner to mention this, his reply was that it was from the AC unit. Mold can be very harmful to peoples health....so I wish we had been told before renting. Overall.... needs some new linen, slipcovers to cover the stains on the white couches, working cable in master, and MOLD problems fixed then it would be a 5 star.

Nice home, but not clean
Checking in at front gate was a bit hostile. The young lady security guard needed lessons on friendliness and communication. We arrived while it was dark and late, so we were not able to fully see the property. My friends bathroom had dried pee on the toilet seat and she had to clean down the entire bathroom. We sat outside that night at the pool which had little lighting, for good reason. The next morning we went to Walmart and picked up cleaning supplies. When we got back to the house we cleaned what we could. I also sent photos to the owner, which he has yet to respond to. I asked weeks prior if the pool will be cleaned and ready for swimming which he replied yes. The POOL WAS FILTHY!! Thank god I only put my feet in! Trash was left by the pool from previous guests. Overall it’s a beautiful house and a great neighborhood, but highly disappointed in the lack of cleanliness and upgrades in the home. Only one washcloth was available for use, and the towels were dingy and dusty.
