All our photos and specially the front sea view of our flat is TRUE, no deception on the quality and more beautiful and bigger when you get there.

Christian was a very accommodating host, all our needs were met, we had a great stay with no problems whatsoever. Unit is easy to walk in, no need to use stairs, and a view from balcony is breathtaking. We would rent again with no hesitation

Lovely stay
Property was just as shown in listing and just as beautiful. Christian (owner) met us and took us to apartment, spending time to show us how to run everything and telling us good places to eat and shop. He lives near by and checked on us with emails to see if we needed anything. Very pleased!

Just Amazing
Immediately comfortable and at home in this apartment with less than a 1 minute walk to aquamarine waters of Orient Bay. The location of the place was perfect, steps away from white sand. If you are looking for a place with a welcoming local feel, near by cafes, restaurants and groceries this is your place to stay. This was our first time in St. Martin. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The pool and beach are just steps away. The unit had everything we needed and our hosts Christian and Chantal were excellent. Very responsive when we had questions. We plan to rebook again next year! This unit is a gem!

When you rent with Chantal and Christian, you are not customer but you become part of their family. They make sure that we will have a best time in St Maarten. They helped us with the rental car, they booked a restaurant for us, they suggested us the best places to visit and go shopping. They were both available for us at anytime. The apartment was well organized with a spectacular ocean view, pool and garden. Highly recommend. We had the most wonderful stay! Thanks to Chantal and Christian

Oreint Bay MT Vernon Rental Property
This unit has a nice view looking down Orient Bay. The region is still recovering and rebuilding from the 2017 Hurricane. My wife and I enjoyed the condo/ view and location. We would definitely go back and rent again. Chantel was nice and helpful as the property manager.

Great location, clean, no stress
Easy walk to the beach and down to Orient Bay. Unit was in great shape, excellent view and exactly as advertised. All people encountered on the property were extremely nice and welcoming. Overall property was still recovering from Hurricane Irma but that was expected. Once construction is completed, this would be a perfect destination when headed for Orient Bay. Definitely would return for another stay to this unit.

The Host was very friendly, and extremely fast in responding to correspondence. The view is wonderful, and the unit has been well renovated in the recent past. As noted with other reviews, the area around still needs much repair from the storm. There are great beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler for use on the beach, which were great to have. Only cons was the lack of a dishwasher (Not a problem if you don't cook), the the AC system was not the strongest.

Nice unit. Owners very nice. Good view other than damaged nonused pool
Complex leaves much to be desired,especially parking lot. That said, the unit was very nice, quiet, and in a good location with easy access to Orient Beach and Grand Case. Complex owners are trying to get entire property going,; but it will take some time to recover from the hurricane damage. Hopefully, the pool renovation will begin soon which will take the view from very good to awesome. Unit owner is very personable and helpful.

Condo as advertised, very nice!
The condo is very nice, looks exactly like pictures. Situated nicely in complex, easy walk to pool and beach. Beautiful views from balcony. Bed is very comfortable, good wifi access too. Kitchen has everything you need. You can walk along beach right into Orient village for some great baguettes and pastry, restaurants and groceries. The only thing I would add to condo is a step stool for reaching upper cabinets easier. Owners are very kind and helpful. I would definitely go back.

Fabulous week !!
Irene and I had a 7 night stay and give this studio room " Two Thumbs Up"! The room was just as advertised and the view from the balcony was spectacular. We visited several other beaches while we were on St Martin but Orient was our favorite - so convenient to just walk right out the door and a few steps later be on the beach. Chantal and Christian we great hosts - Christian patiently waited for use even thought our flight was ~ 1 hr late and Chantal shared a wealth of information concerning other beaches and activities. We will definitely be back again!!

We had a great time in this little hideaway. The sounds of the surf and fabulous view from the balcony are perfect. We could walk to the beach barefoot from the apartment. Had a great view of the beach and pool. Can't wait to come back for the third year in a row.

Beautiful Studio on Orient Beach
My wife and I just returned from an 11 night stay at this studio. The unit was exactly as described. The views were fabulous from the balcony. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice to have the extras like the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and ice packs. The pool was recently renovated and was awesome. It was a refreshing stop after a day on the beach. Chantal and Christian kept in contact with us in the weeks preceding our stay to make sure our needs were met. We would certainly stay here again and would (and have) recommend his studio to friends.

Beautiful views, very nice hosts!
Just returned home after an amazing vacation staying in this rental. The views from the balcony were amazing and it was the perfect home base for our trip. We came on a kiteboarding vacation and were able to kite off of the properties beach. The pool looked beautiful and it overlooks the ocean..(we never actually used the pool lol to busy with other adventures!) Yes the parking lot is not right outside the rental but it is only a short walk and adds to the charm. The parking lot is safe and there are cameras. Yes part of the road has many potholes but we were able to easily navigate with our little toyota rental. The unit has everything you need, beach chairs, umbrellas, bags for grocery shopping, kitchenware, hair dryer ect. Chantel even had two welcome beers and some lovely handmade soap as a welcoming present. She was very helpful and gave us lots of suggestions on places to go. This was a perfect peaceful place to stay and relax after our daily adventures exploring the island. I would highly recommend renting from them.

My wife and I stayed for a week in January and it was superb. Loved the view and the unit could not have been nicer. More people at Mont Vernon greeted us with bonjour rather than hello! The location was great and Chantal and Christian could not have been more helpful. We highly recommend renting from them and hope to come back again.

Not Too Good to be True - Reviews are Accurate!
Just arrived home from a week-long stay in Chantal & Christian's Unit 2 studio condo, which is actually on the 3rd floor of the building with a gorgeous balcony view of all of Orient Beach. The listing description and other reviewers' descriptions are completely accurate. Rest assured, what you read, see & hear is what you are going to get! Prior to our arrival we communicated with Chantal via email. She was extremely responsive, helpful & kind. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Christian who helped us to the condo and then gave a fantastic informational overview of everything we needed to know about the condo, property, Orient Beach and the local town. They have also prepared a wonderful binder of information for their guests, and we used it frequently. Chantal & Christian were both very easy to work with from my initial inquiry about the rental to check-out. As for the amenities of the condo, it has everything you need. We especially appreciated the cooler and ice packs. We used it to bring beer to the beach. There are 2 chairs & an umbrella in the condo for your use as well. We used the washer once. They provide laundry detergent. They also provide dish soap, paper towels & toilet paper; however, there was only one paper towel roll & one toilet paper roll, and by day 4 we had run out of both. This isn't meant to be negative, but rather to prepare you. There is a small store on the property that sells these items, but they weren't open when we needed them, nor were the local supermarkets. I would just recommend that if you only see one roll of t.p. when you arrive, it's probably a good idea to purchase another from the store well before you run out. Also, you'll want to bring all of your own toiletries, including soap, or buy them as soon as you arrive, as those are not included. The property itself is nice. It's the former Mont Vernon Hotel, which is no longer a hotel but still referred to as Mont Vernon. It consists of both residents & guests. Don't be alarmed - the reception area is completely deserted, and it looks a little creepy, but there is 24-hour security with guards who are always there. Even though the outside of the buildings are older looking & could use some repair, the grounds are well-kept, and the pool is large & very clean. There was a man thoroughly cleaning it every morning. It was actually more refreshing for us to swim in the pool than Orient Beach. I definitely recommend this rental!

We have stayed at Mt Vernon 5 times now and by far this was the best apt. We were very happy with the service and all amenities. The apt was very well equipped as far as kitchen supplies for eating in. Also they had beach equipment, which was great. The owners were super helpful and easy to communicate to. We hope to be back again next year. The property is wonderful ...... We keep coming back.

Never wanted to leave
This is really a fabulous little apartment with every amenity including ones you haven't yet realized you want. For example, not only is a cooler provided for you to take when you go to the beach, there are also little ice packs in the freezer ready to go. The studio is in a resort that I imagine was a happening place in the 1960s but has now been converted into condos owned primarily by French nationals (practice your "bonjours") and everyone is friendly and quiet. The view is gorgeous and you can hear the ocean even with the air conditioning on. You can also feed the adorable donkeys that live nearby too - carrots and stale bread very welcome (I spoke to the owner personally). We loved the guide booklet Chantal and Christian made and referred to it extensively during our vacation. You'll definitely want to rent a car.
