Very nice property but …
When my husband and I started planning our St. Martin trip for this November, we looked for a rental property and found the picture of this very nice, huge master bedroom unit with a king size bed and with a very nice connected ensuite with double sinks. The rest of the unit was equipped beyond our needs and looked very nice even having a view of the ocean. We booked it.
Carol-Anne, the manager of the property, was easy to get in touch with and promptly looked after the apartment issues we found except for one that we believe she was unable to. We were completely without water for two days and were told it was due to a “water cut”/water main break issue. However, aside from that, this unit does not have adequate water pressure. We were unable to use the shower on the upstairs master ensuite except the for the first day of our stay. The rest of the days (if we had water service) the water would only trickle out of the ensuite shower head, the ensuite toilet at times would not refill after flushing and water at the sinks was so slow it was mostly impossible to use. We made very little use of the upstairs ensuite. We were told there was nothing that could be done to increase the water pressure. We would have given this place a “10” rating had it had adequate water pressure. Unfortunately because of very insufficient water pressure we would not rebook this rental. Interestingly our neighbour’s water pressure was significantly better than ours.
