However, the hotel is not ideal for someone that has impaired mobility or uses a wheelchair, because of steps within the common parts of the building and does not have a lift to access the upper floors' bedrooms. "This was just the property I was hoping for when booking a trip with my daughter to the historic beaches of Normandy. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. Service was also basic but prompt and polite. And food was available in the hotel both morning and evening. We had a great vacation and I'd happily recommend the Ibis Port en Bessin"
