Veleta is a quality self-catering house with two double bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room. The house is arranged over three floors with the living area on the ground floor, the bedrooms on the first floor and a roof terrace.
You approach the front door from the main thoroughfare crossing a small bridge over the acequia and pass through a tunnel formed by a gorgeous Wisteria tree and a very old fig tree. Going through the front door you enter a hallway and then on into the lounge/dining room. On your right are the kitchen and bathroom. Directly ahead there is an archway that takes you into the magnificent stairwell. At the top of the stairs directly ahead is the shower room. Turning left you are on a landing where there is a snug. Leading off the landing on the right is bedroom 1 and on the left a corridor that takes you to bedroom 2. Off this corridor on your left is a door that leads outside providing access to the roof terrace.
In the lounge/dining room there is a 2-seater sofa and a 3-seater sofa, a side table, wood burning stove, floor-standing fan, sideboard, dining table and four chairs, wall-mounted television, DVD player and Bose music station that connects wirelessly to your mobile device.
The kitchen includes a gas fired range, microwave, large fridge/freezer, sink, shelving and cupboards. A granite-topped table provides an additional work surface.
The ground floor bathroom is fitted with a bath with overhead shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin.
On the first floor there is a shower room that includes a large walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin.
Bedroom one is fitted with a queen-sized bed, bedside tables and lamps, wardrobe, full length floor standing mirror and has an external door through which you can access the east facing terrace. On this terrace you will find a table and two chairs.
Bedroom two is fitted with a king-sized bed, bedside tables and lamps, dressing table, wardrobe and has an external door through which you can access the east facing terrace. On this terrace you will find a table and two chairs.
There is a door off the bedroom corridor that leads to a foyer and then to the outside where you find a staircase that takes you to the roof terrace. On the roof terrace there is a table and five chairs and from here you can enjoy spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada mountains to the north, the Sierra Lújar mountains to the south, the Río Guadalfeo valley that runs east to west and the twin towers of Órgiva church to the north.
