"The cabin is so great! We had a great time relaxing at the cabin and exploring the area. The screened in porch is the BEST part. We found the cabin and the local restaurants to be extremely dog friendly. It’s definitely off the beaten path a bit and cell service is spotty, but the WiFi worked great when we needed it and I downloaded offline maps for the area in advance so we got around just fine. "Lake was absolutely worth the trip. Even had kayaks and canoes. I give this place a lower rating just because the house was not up to par. It was dirty, had a weird smell, and there was mold. Housekeeping can do better"

"It was great! A perfect getaway in the woods. We didn't have the wifi password initially, and it said to reach out through the app. But we couldn't get online to ask. Could have been weather related, as the message went through the next day. Living room TV had Youtube TV, which was great. Bedrooms did not. Downstairs bathroom sink didn't drain. These are all very minor, we appreciated our stay very much and would certainly do it again!"

"Stayed with my husband, son, daughter in law and 3 year old granddaughter. We totally enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and very well appointed. Morning walks to the river and roasting marshmallows at night. Butterflies, wild turkeys, and a toad were highlights for the little one. A short drive to Wellington state park and about 30 minutes to restaurants. I imagine it would also be a perfect location in fall and winter"
