Orford Beach House - Orford.

This older style cottage with 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 with direct access to the water. There is a bike track that runs along the river front of the property. The river meets the sea directly out front and easy access for kayaks. The cottage has every thing one would need for a little get away by the sea, with amazing views of Maria Island from the deck. You can just sit and relax while enjoying the views.
The house has one queen and one double bedrooms. There is a sunroom which gets lovely warm afternoon sun where one can sit and read books from the collection at the house.

The best thing was the view of Maria Island from the back deck and main bedroom window. Late check out is also appreciated. Ice cream shop (Sweets) across the road was excellent to discover just before closing time. The Orford Beach House is well set up and would be a great place to stay for a week. We only had two nights. I would come back again with more time next time.

Peaceful location, beautiful scenery
Lovely beach cottage with everything we needed for a two day stay. Enjoyed mornings and evenings on the deck overlooking the river, beach and Maria Island. Close to Orford and Triabunna for restaurants and access to Maria Island.

Great location and views
Great location with everything you need close by. Spacious property, lovely spacious deck with great views, comfortable beds and plenty of all that you need including local rabbits and echidna! Communication with owner really good and we would stay again.

Happy in Orford
The house is homely and spacious. Great deck with super view across river mouth to Maria Island. We enjoyed walked daily on the beaches and walking tracks here and nearby. Plus a visit to Maria Is. All very relaxing.

We enjoyed our stay at Julie’s house. We enjoyed the track along the river to go into Orford. Also, a good location to quickly get to the Maria Island ferry for a day trip. Lots of great spaces in the house for relaxing.

Great little shack
Great little shack, only thing is there is no fences the place is pet friendly so we took our 16 week old puppy but with no fences it’s was a little difficult and also difficult with a toddler as well, apart from that it’s was a great little place

Great family accommodation with direct water access
This is the second time we've stayed here. The house is older, but comfortable. It's a great place to stay with children, there is direct access to the river and a small beach. Magnificent view from the main bedroom and balcony. The main beach is only a short walk or ride. Having access to the canoes and a safe area to use them is a bonus for the children.

Superb views.
This property is perfectly located with a grassy backyard down to the walking track and river. Views are spectacular and the garden is lovely. We enjoyed use of the kayaks and would love to have had more time here. A very welcoming experience and we really hope to return. Thanks Julie.

Outstanding Holiday
Absolutely great house, view of the sea from the back veranda, everything you would ever need is supplied, very handy to town shops, let the fur baby run free on the beach, a short stroll from the back garden,, watch the Rabbits play in the early morn or evening, thank you Julie for the Wine and Biscuits, lovely thought Kind regards Tom Tina & Freddie

Old and rustic or old and tired
This place is ideally located right on the river inlet, with a cafe next door and across the road. The local Blue Waters Hotel is a two minute walk away and does great meals, nice family atmosphere. The accomodation is large plenty of room for a family, fully equipped or over equipped, but I can’t make my mind up whether it’s old and rustic or old, tired and cluttered.

Could not ask for anything better. Million dollar view. Very cosy the heater was put on for us a big thank you for that. Water pressure great excellent shower. Only need to take your clothes and a toothbrush and food. We will be back

Check in procedure and communication with Julie was excellent and the water views are delightful. However, the unkempt grounds, drab interior and worn-out furniture and fittings seemed well below the standard expected at those rates. We won't be back.
