"A modern, thoughtfully designed property on a hilltop overlooking Nuoro. The front desk staff went out of their way to be helpful with a small problem that I had. The rooms were modern and comfortable. One issue that we found everywhere in Sardinia is that the rooms don't have enough electrical outlets, making it a bit of a hassle to charge personal devices. The breakfast was fine in a room with a great view overlooking the town. One plus, during the off-season, is that there are enough travelers for business, so the property offers the full range of services. At other properties in the off-season, the lack of guests can result in limited services. Also, excellent parking. Definitely recommend for car travelers. Because it is located 2 km from the city center, it may be a hassle for persons who don't have a car, although there is good municipal bus service accessible about a five minute walk distant."

"Everything was awesome however I arrived two hours early and I never got the instructions for self check in. Otherwise it’s a modern, relaxing an upscale hotel well worth every penny. I like how art pieces are in your room as well as in the hallways. If I were a chef I would have taken advantage of the the complete kitchen."

"It’s a historical building wonderfully refurbished - it really gives palace energy. The rooms are cozy, tidy, the bathroom has all you need, everything is clean. The breakfast has good quality products, you have eggs, meat, dairy, fresh pastry, cakes etc. “Lady breakfast”, as Maria called her, makes sure you serve your coffee hot and exactly how you like it. They have a baby/toddler chair, great for enjoying the breakfast together with the whole family. They also have a baby cot. Maria gave us tips on what we can do, where we can eat, what are the best beaches etc. Really, really helpful, as we spent 8 days there and we also discovered beautiful trekking routes to go to with our baby, thanks to her. My wife went horse riding at Spiaggia di Osala, a recommendation from Maria too, and it was great. All the ladies at Palazzo Cherci made our holiday really wonderful and enjoyable and were so nice to our baby, too. You also have parking options nearby, with fees or free. The hotel is in a beautiful area of Sardinia, quite close to Costa Smeralda and Baunei (with wonderful beaches reachable only by boat). All in all, a great option for single travellers, couples and even families. P.S. The rooftop is simply amazing, especially on sunny days, and on that floor you can also find board games and blankets if you want to spend the evening there and you feel cold. "

"The property fully matches the description on the vrbo site, it's very well equipped also for a medium-long stay and is a very good starting point for enjoying the Gulf of Orosei, mixing the beautiful landscapes of the Supramonte mountains and the seaside with its beaches, archeology, swimming and hiking. "We stayed as a couple at Agriturismo S'Ozzastru for 13 nights, between July & August. This was our first stay in an agriturismo, which is a sort of working holiday farm, where the animals live, but you can’t see them as the land is very big. We stayed in a standard room that was of a good size, had all we needed for when we came back in the evening after a long day out! The beach umbrella was really a nice touch! Highlights of our holiday were: - [ ] A magnificent buffet breakfast every morning between 8.15am and 10am. The food was home made and super delicious!! There was a variety of savoury and sweet food, hot & cold drinks and what we liked the most were the dried salamini, fresh ricotta cheese and the pastries filled with fresh cream! - [ ] The lovely members of staff, from super marvellous Federica, at the front desk, to the three lady cleaners, to the breakfast ladies and to the guy working at the snack bar! Thank you for welcoming us!! - [ ] Lovely swimming pool area and panoramic views. - [ ] Nice chilling area in front of our room. Things to consider: * Finding a way for outside/agriturismo guests to not leave their belongings all day on the pool chairs/beds when they don’t use the area, as not fair to the other guests. * * Having the opportunity to have breakfast untill 11am. * If possible, replenish the breakfast buffet table untill closing time, and not up to 30 minutes before. We enjoyed our stay and holiday at the agriturismo! Thank you. "
