"Amazing cabin that was perfect to relax in by the wood stove and look out at the snowy woods. Had all the modern amenities we needed and a well-stocked kitchen. Be careful with the driveway if coming in the winter. We were here during a snowstorm that turned to slush and then ice. The plow did come for the driveway but it still left a layer of ice that we needed a couple tries to get out of in our 4X4 SUV. It also was very slippery walking to the house. "The heat was unbearable. The description did not indicate that there were no AC units at least in the bedrooms. We ended up leaving on Saturday afternoon because we could not spend a 2nd night not being able to sleep because of the high temperature."

"I have wanted to stay in one of these vintage vacation cottages for years. We happened to see this listing for an upcoming trip to West Point. I highly recommend staying here. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The only slight issue was finding the driveway to property and the road noise. A sound machine was provided and it was useful. We had a great stay here."

Even with winter still lingering, the lake view was spectacular and was highlighted by the home's back wall of windows.
