A charming freshly renovated 1930s double brick, bungalow style home in walking distance to Orange CBD. This lovely home has decorative ceiling and timber floors alongside many modern touches including a fully renovated kitchen. Settle back and relax on the raised deck, overlooking the backyard. Plenty of space to enjoy an outdoor BBQ with family and friends or savour the moment with a morning tea or coffee the deck.

The Neighborhood:
East Orange Village is a trendy area full of history. The area is quiet, safe and super friendly. Supplying a plethora of heritage cottages, it is a sort after area to live and stay thanks to its closeness to the CBD of Orange, schools, cafes, post office, art galleries and parks. Feel free to look up the East Orange heritage Trail or pick up a map from our Visitor Information Centre to discover step by step the history of the area. The Bathurst Road Bungalow is 5 minute walk to Bills Beans Coffee and East Orange post office. An 8 minute walk to The Corner Store Gallery, 5 minute walk to the fabulous Charred Restaurant and 7 minute walk to the Ophir Tavern (amazing food). Kinross School is only 550m away. For fast food convenience, you will find all the major outlets within a 1km radius including 7-Eleven and BP Service station.

Getting Around:
Bathurst Road Bungalow is located on the main road into Orange and is only a short drive to anywhere. You can walk to most places in the CBD depending on your activity level.
Orange Taxi Service and Uber are also available to use.

Very good property and would recommend
Check in and out was easy. Lovely two large bed, dining, big and very comfortable lounge. Bathroom/laundry very well set up and appointed. Very clean.On the negative side of things that are small aspects but could lift this property into five stars: (but certainly not deal breakers)The front and back lawns were about 6” long. We chose not to walk through the long grass to access the clothesline.The TV reception was very poor and the signal struggled with sketchy service in the lounge room. The batteries in the air conditioner remote were flat. We changed them and it worked fine.The large clock in the kitchen didn’t work well until we changed the battery.The driveway is ridiculously narrow and a bit of a challenge to back into, particularly at night. In closing this is a lovely and well appointed property and we would highly recommend.

Cosy Weekend Getaway
A great little house for a weekend getaway, within walking distance of the main street and most places. We booked this as for a girls trip with three of us in July - perfect for our plans of wine touring and a great dinner location across the road at Charred!
