From the minute you walk in the door at Skane until the time you leave, you will know that you are on a singular vacation and that the feelings you enjoy here will last forever. The sound of the beach at your door, the sun, the sand, and the pelicans and dolphins are a tonic like no other. The main level of this home has an open floor plan with living areas, dining areas, and a spacious kitchen, and a view of the Gulf from every angle. The third story has four bedrooms including two gulf-front main suites with king beds and private access to the balcony. The main suites each have private full baths with whirlpool tubs, separate showers, and double vanity sinks. The remaining bedrooms, on the northeast and northwest respectively, have king beds and private full baths with tub/shower combinations. There is a small morning kitchen and an additional laundry room on this level as well. With eight bedrooms total, six with king beds, and two separate living areas, your comfort is assured. Skane provides space for whatever your purpose may be. Nordic Villas offers common areas with manicured grounds and two immaculate outdoor pools, and shared charcoal and gas grills give guests an unforgettable experience.

Great size for our family
We loved the spacious area and king sized beds. We had a little issue with the door codes that was quickly fixed. I wish The cleaning inside and outside had been tended to a little better. We loved there were beach toys and floats there.

The place was very well stocked, with a great view. We were sent codes for checkin and when we got there we could not get in and guest services finally rest the code. Once we got in we had to wait two and a half hours on cleaning staff to clean the rental. It was very awkward.

Nice house
The house itself was great. The location is near to a number of high-rise condos, so the beach was a bit more crowded (at times) than we would have preferred. But extremely convenient to shops, restaurants, etc.

Spring Break Trip
It was perfect for our family and friends. Location was amazing. We wish the pool would have been open, but it was closed for inspection. Other than that it was a great experience. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic
This house was great for our large group. There are lots of beds and the rooms are large. We were thankful for all the seating in the dining room and living room. The open floor plan made the kitchen/dining/living room area a great space. The easy access to the beach made this house perfect for our group. I would definitely stay here again! The only problems that we noticed is the ice makers that do not work and a broken seal on one of the master bedroom windows that prevent a beautiful view of the beach.

Skane.....a villa with so much potential!
The Skane villa is a great choice for a multi-generational beach vacation. We had 16 people sharing the villa and with bedrooms located on all three floors, we felt like there was plenty of space for everyone. It's located right on the beach so a 3 minute walk and you are at the water's edge. Even with a big condo unit right next store, the beach was never crowded. Our grandkids really enjoyed the community pool as well. We did have some maintenance issues which were resolved in a timely manner. But the overall appearance of the villa could use a major update. We enjoyed our stay even with the few hitches.

A very clean, comfortable, spacious home
Beach accessibility makes this house well worth the stay. No need to pack up your gear to drive to an access point when the beach is right outside your back door. The whole house was very open with many living spaces, inside and out. Even with our family of 20, we never felt like we were right on top of each other.

Great location!
The location is great with direct beach access! Loved that there is a master bath, living area, and full size fridge downstairs with the bunk beds. Kids can run/play and not disturb anyone. Two bedrooms on the main level which makes it easy for those who don’t do stairs as well. Full size washer and dryer down with apartment size washer and dryer up so easy to keep laundry done. Large table on the main level with long bar so everyone can eat together. Two ice machines…though one was not working during our stay. Hose on the beach entry patio and shower to the side for quick sand clean up. Perfect for large families!

Needs a good deep clean and minor repairs
The space and the location are fabulous. The unit is a bit worn and needs several minor repairs and a good deep clean. The kitchen pots and pans are unorganized and not well cleaned. The furnishings are adequate but there is no sense of style in the art work and decor. Cheap, small wall art does not measure up to the standards of a home. It’s obviously a cheaply decorated, older space, corporate rental.

Amazing sunsets!
Great space and location. Beds were comfortable and one room is no longer 2 twins but a king instead so that was an upgrade for some of our group staying with us. The downstairs sofa bed is broken but luckily just the younger boys had to sleep on it. It was very close to pool and beach, which made it nice to keep eyes on the kids. Lots of seating for our large group and the the kitchen was stocked well. (Bring your own kitchen towels though, as none were bra When our coffee pot messed up, the management company was quick to bring a replacement. Really wish the property had been cleaned better - especially the bathrooms. The drains need a thorough cleaning in the bathtubs as the water was very slow to drain and there was mold on the caulking and shower curtains. All in all, we were satisfied with this property and it met most of the needs of our large group.

Had some bad experiences
While we were there, the AC unit was being replaced. We had strangers in our house for an ENTIRE day, there was such a mess we couldn't access one room, the temps were hot upstairs, and it was so noisy my son got woken up from his nap due to the banging ... and Vacasa offered such a minimal refund for the inconvenience, it was almost a slap in the face. Beach access was great, so that part was positive. The basement sliding glass door was impossible to use, the upstairs dryer didn't put out heat, the kitchen sink faucet didn't work great, the bunk bed room dresser drawers didn't open, one upstairs bathroom didn't have a toilet paper holder, the basement dryer was so loud, it couldn't be used when anyone was sleeping, the main floor bathroom did not lock ... there were definitely areas of the house that could've been improved and made the stay nicer. I'm mostly disappointed in Vacasa's handling of our situation, whom you will deal with, even if booking thru VRBO.

This house and location was perfect for us. We are already talking about booking again next year. The house was on the beach, modern, had room for everyone, and each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Kitchen was very well stocked and customer service was great.

Family Holiday
The house was perfect for our extended family with all 8 bedrooms occupied. The view was outstanding and the walk to the beach from the back door took about 30 seconds. Nice relaxing vacation to end 2022 and begin a new journey in 2023.

Great house great location
This house was great for a group of six adults and eight children. There was lots of room for everyone. The layout allowed for everyone to come and go, sit and watch TV, eat dinner at the table, and cook dinner in the kitchen, without it feeling like we were on top of each other. I really enjoy staying at houses that have direct beach access such as this one. The location of this house to grocery stores, dining, and shopping was great.

Friends and Fun in the sun
Our recent stay at Skane was good. It’s a great location in OBA with easy access to the beach and surrounding restaurants, shopping and other activities. We had a wonderful time! Lots of room for the thirteen adults staying there. We particularly enjoyed the beach side porch in the evenings. There were a couple of issues that management addressed as soon as we reported them. The property does need a few minor repairs and a good deep cleaning. For example, the ceiling fans need dusting and the kitchen sink faucet is loose. We would definitely stay at Skane again if these and a few other repairs were made.
