The building is situated on the beautiful, sugar-white, powder-soft sand of the Gulf of Mexico where the Gulf, Perdido Pass, Perdido Bay and Old River come together. Beyond the view and the proximity to nearby shops and restaurants, you'll find this building to be rich in amenities: a barbecue area, indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, a steam room, an exercise room, and indoor and outdoor hot tubs. You'll also love your private balcony! The sunrises and sunsets are just stunning from this point of view. Watch commercial and recreational boats come in and out of the pass. Gaze out at the emerald-green waters and keep your eyes peeled for dolphins as they frolic about near the shore. There are also restaurants, a spa, and numerous shops at the nearby SanRoc Cay, called a destination for fun for its boutique shopping, fine dining, courtyard events and access to deep sea fishing excursions. Great stay but always room for improvement
Our stay was enjoyable. The only real inconvenience was the lack of kitchen cooking tools. If you plan to actually cook most of your trip, you may want to bring a mixing bowl and a rubber scraper at least. It was a fantastic stay for the affordable cost.

Great location!
This condo was a great fit for our family. The beach area near here is phenomenal! Great views of the waterway from your balcony everyday! We saw so many boats and dolphins this trip. We took another person's advice and brought extra blankets for our kids (very thin spreads in unit). Other than a few cosmetic things, and the sofa bed being broken upon arrival (we didn't need it thankfully) we would stay here again. The pros outweigh the cons, at least for us!

Could be much better
We always love grand pointe we just were disappointed in this particular condo. Aesthetically it was average but we spend enough to vacation there, we shouldn’t have needed to go buy bedding to be able to sleep.

Second Time Staying in this Unit
This was our 2nd time staying here. It suits all of our needs for a beach getaway. The beds were comfy. I do recommend supplying an extra set of towels as we had during our first visit. Nothing that would prevent us from staying here again. You can’t beat the view!

Summer beach vacay
The room was very clean. Great location and convenient to grocery store and restaurants. Indoor and outdoor pool! From the balcony we were able to watch boats and jet skis coming in and out through the pass!! Would definitely book again!

Too many problems
Smoke smell in the unit, the master bed is broken . Vacasa had technicians come to repair several things. Not the way you want a vacation to go.

Beach Trip April 2024
I stay at this property twice a year. Perfect to watch boats and see the city lights at night all from balconies. This unit needs update on furnishings. Decor is not beach themed. Bar ice maker doesn’t work and the twin beds squeak loudly with every move made while in the beds. These things were not fixed during our stay. Blankets need to be available for the beds. Please leave more than 1 kitchen towel. Refrigerator doesn’t keep items at the right cooled temp. Oven mitts are needed.

Nice room and location, but a concerning event.
I had a fun time overall, and the room was nice. Most of this typed review is negative but that doesn’t reflect the overall experience of the trip. There was one thing that really bothered my mother and I. We arrived back to our room after dinner - around 5:30 on the next-to-last day of the trip - to find a man on his phone walking between the living room and master bedroom. He claimed to have been sent to fix things, but Vacasa had no idea who he was or record of him being sent. I read prior reviews of the room, and someone else had mentioned that a repairman had visited the room during their stay, which means it’s potentially a recurring thing. Still not acceptable. We felt very uncomfortable after that. What he claimed to have fixed also wasn’t fixed.

Great location, and that’s really all
Loved the location. The actual building was nice. The condo itself was, in our opinion, not very good. The layout was nice however the beds, all 3, were either broken or not very sturdy. The master bath shower door was broken and the tub leaked. The couch had almost no cushion. The overall look is very outdated. Had we stayed during peak season and paid more we would have been very disappointed. I will say the customer service was very good though as they came twice to check on broken items.

Beach Stay
Nice location on the pass to watch boats/fisherman. Building is in very clean condition. Elevators work well. Outdoor pool was warm but still swimable. Indoor pool was a bit cooler. Condo itself was very spacious. While adequate, it needs a bit of attention to details. Beds are noisy/unsecure. Ice machine was a great touch, but like others have said, needs cleaning. Only one old cast iron frying pan. Light in bathroom flickers or doesn't light at all. Could easily be a 5 star with a little more effort.

Overall great stay but lacking amenities
We have stayed in many different units at Grand Pointe over the years and it is by far our favorite location to stay in OBA. However, this unit may be our least favorite. The kitchen was very poorly stocked with the few cooking utensils available being randomly thrown in various drawers making cooking pretty difficult. Some of the other basic kitchen amenities were either lacking or broken. For example, the blender did not fit on the base that was in the cabinet, so we were unable to use. Also, the ice maker in the wet bar area did not work but would randomly make loud noises. The switch for the garbage disposal did not work causing the sink to back up. We did not request for this to be fixed during our stay since it was a short trip, but would have if we had been there longer.

Prime Location, Maintenance Needed
The location is perfect for Orange Beach. The unit requires several repairs: the dishwasher didn't work, no WIFI, the shower door didn't close, worn furniture and broken drawers, etc. The unit could benefit from additional supplies for guests; such as hangers and additional kitchen supplies. The management company didn't address the WIFI issue during the entire stay. They also stated that they were aware of the dishwasher not working. Dirty dishes were put back in the cabinets.

Do not rent no air
Lost a day of our vacation trying to relocate . Unit no air temperature was 80 plus . Couldn’t relocate till following day . Sorry for the bad review but the truth . Unit needs updates and maitenance .

Outdated and poorly managed
My family and I have been visiting Orange Beach for the past 10 years and have always had an amazing time which is why we keep coming back. This specific condo unit left a lot to be desired however - it clearly has not been updated in anyway, cracked/leaking drains, worn furniture and outdated appliances and technology. One of the toilets was squealing so loudly when the water was filling the basin that we had to request it be repaired, which it was, but the repairman came without any communication from the management company so my mother was in the shower at the time with nobody else home. The property management company also did not communicate with us beforehand regarding active construction work that would be happening directly on our balcony during our entire stay. There were construction workers hopping on and off the balcony and scraping/loudly sanding parts of the ceiling off which rendered the balcony unusable - when they weren’t actively working, there was dust and debris everywhere. One morning they started working at 8am without warning. We didn’t feel comfortable having our curtains open at any time since we didn’t know when they would show up. There was also construction plastic material covering the railing which essentially blocked the view of the ocean. Due to the outdated unit and extremely poor experience with the management company, I would not stay here again.
