"This property let us book a room at 7pm and although clearly on their site it states check in is available until midnight, at 9:20 we arrived to a dark abandoned house. We tried reaching the manager via what’s app and after an hour he finally answered and told us to “find another place to stay, he’s closed”. The property is non refundable so I’ve been fighting with Expedia for a refund which to this point they’ve refused to issue. Absolute disaster. I’ll be claiming a fraudulent transaction...

"My stay on the island of Mljet was amazing. The apartment had the most wonderful view from the balcony and was very close to the ferry port. "Great apartment, very modern and comfortable and 5 min walk to sea and places to swim. We had free use of bikes to cycle into the Old Town, which was a nice touch - took about 20 mins along the coast road. Only a couple of places to eat within walking distance on the beach. Nice meal at Mimis but very expensive and ok breakfast at La Banya. Hosts were lovely, very helpful and available when needed . "My husband and I really enjoyed our time here. We wanted some much needed rest and we really got what we were looking for. The vieuw was amazing 😍 long walks, beaches and good food nearby. The owners really are sweethearts. Very helpful with whatever we needed. They really took good care of us especially because i had just found out that I'm pregnant and the day of arrival i was very sick. It really felt like family away from home. "The communication was terrible. I sent two messages on Hotels.com the morning prior arrival and never get any answer. We arrived at 17 at the flat and when I called the host he said he would be here "in a minute". We waited 45 mn. Not a nice experience after hours of driving.
